    Well, K. Williams, and Dareus will likely be gone next season so they'll need to draft DT with a high pick to keep that production. And probably Lorenzo Alexander, but they need to rebuild the LB corps anyway. The secondary is set for a few years, still need depth all around tho. Poyer and Hyde are a nice tandem, each 26 years old, probably have 5 good years left. Could use another starting CB as well. Hughes still has about 3 good years left.

    Yeah this is a fun one. Darnold just gets it done when it needs to get done. His technique is terrible most of the time, but boy is his pocket awareness off the charts.

    Bad optic indeed. Speaking of optics, I really need to order a new supply of contacts. I agree 100%. I've brought up this same concern in a few other threads. What happens if CJ becomes the starter? How will Lehner react... with his volatile personality, and on a one year deal, he won't be happy.

    I, for one, would rather see a healthy Kulikov perform in this system than Bogosian or Gorges.

    5TDs in the first half at Pitt. 497 yards passing, 72% comp pcnt. Averaged 48yds per TD pass.

    If he can carry this over into games I'll be pleasantly surprised. I'm really hoping some guys like him can resurrect their careers.

    I'd say the only guys he's faster than are Larsson, Moulson, and Gorges... and maybe Risto. He's certainly near the bottom of the quickness rankings, ahead of only Bogo prolly. I'd really like to know the results of the on ice testing yesterday, and from last year, just to see how guys have progressed or regressed.

    They lack speed, skill and awareness. If you have 2 of those 3 you can have success, they have none.

    It helps that there is no chin up bar in existence high enough to get his feet off the ground.

    I think they'll give Girgensons a chance, but ultimately I see him being moved as his skill set doesn't fit with the way this team wants to play. Larsson could find himself in the same position. Maybe not this season but definitely when Asplund is here next season.

    ROR is too hard on himself as it is. Adding the "C" to his sweater might break him mentally when things aren't going well.

    Bylsma had a plan for that too.... haha Seriously tho, I'm looking forward to watching this system, will definitely be more fun to watch... win or lose. Even as a Bylsma apologist, it's refreshing to have a progressive coach... seems like the players are excited about it.

    That's nice and all, and not to be negative, but what happens when Girgensons turns it over entering the zone... boom, instant odd man rush going the other way. That's my concern with firewagon hockey... .and they don't have a Pekka Rinne to back them up.

    You think JBOTs will have a talk with them about this bike riding thing? It's not exactly the safest means of travel for two of the most important pieces of this team.

    My concern is that once the puck moves to Girgensons, the play will break down because he has no hands or creative offensive ability, not can he dish the pill with any amount of regular success.
