Leaving Lehner In For 6 Seals It: I’m Done With Housley
pi2000 replied to Swedesessed's topic in The Aud Club
Of course they like him... he never benches anybody, everybody gets to play a lot and not feel any pressure to perform. Such a cozy comfortable environment for the players, everybody gets along, they all like each other and communicate very well. They don't need to answer to anybody, just go about their business, enjoy each others company and collect fat paychecks. They're living high off the hog and I'm sure it's a wonderful experience for all of them. -
I don't think it's on the players. They look lost, like they're playing without a purpose.... there's a massive leadership void and PH can't lead these guys. Sadly, I agree that PH is prolly here to start the next season.

What Should The Sabres Goals Be For The Rest of The Season?
pi2000 replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
Goals? what are "goals"? This team plays like there's no point in doing anything. That's coaching. Phil is failing miserably. Unless they suddenly feel like competing again, then they'll be looking for a new head coach.... again. -
bring bylsma back, this is getting dumb.
-
IF they trade Kane I think they'll attach a bad contract (Moulson/Bogo), so I don't really expect much in return.
-
I feel your pain... it was in the mid-50's when I tee'd off Sunday morning at Los Serranos South course. Eventually warmed up, but those first few holes.... brrrrrrrrrrrr.

Sabres at New Jersey Devils 12/29/2017 at 7pm in Prudential Center

Jack was on a loaded BU team that went to the Frozen Four final. Minnesota this year is just meh. -
What separates Mittlestadt from lots of other skilled players is his relentlessness on the puck. He plays a complete 200 foot game, which at his age and talent level is a rarity. I see more Datsyuk and Forsberg in him than anything else.
-
He's getting scoring chances but his shot is terrible, and he still needs to get stronger on his skates. Can it be fixed? Sure, but he needs to put the work in. That said I think he gets moved in the summer.

Tough tough loss. I'd rather watch then lose 6-4 in regulation than get the point for an OT loss. We were told Housley would open up the offensive and we'd have fun hockey, it's quite the opposite.

Ravens will lose, Titans will lose, and Chargers will lose.... and Bill's will lose. There is no other narrative in this particular universe we live in.
-
He's 183lbs. I have no proof tho, you'll just have take my word for it.
-
He's not 200lbs lol.
-
He reminds alot me of Tim Connolly. Soft silky hands, sees the ice really well. Fragile frame tho is my concern, hope they leave him school for another couple years... keep him away from this toxic environment.

Where there's smoke there's fire.

Gulls score with less than a minute, win 4-3. Moulson with second star.
-
Correct, and Corey Tropp had an absolutely filthy goal pulling the puck between his own legs and roofing it. Still 3-3 HALF WAY through the third period.
-
Matty Mo just scored his first as a member of the Reign.... and I was there to witness it lol! 3-3 after 2, Petersen in the cage for the Reign looks terrible, no rebound control and can't find the biscuit through traffic. Entertaining game tho, a handful of fights already, these teams don't like each other. Moulson also assisted in the first goal, he looks slow, but is positionally sound and can dish.

Consider there are infinite parallel universes... in at least one of those universes the Sabres win the lottery every year. Likewise, in at least one of those universes they never win the lottery. Which universe do we live in?
-
Even if they finish dead last, they still only have a less than 1 in 5 chance of keeping of the first overall pick.
