Anyone know what's going on with Greenway? I read on tsn that he's on IR -- and Personal Reasons is the reason. What "personal reasons?" 🤢 How long is he supposed to be out?

Not to mention blond hair blue eyed, to match the uniform.

Pegula just doesn't get it. He and his "team" has a history of hiring the cheapest management, GMs and coaches he can find. So it appears he doesn't place much importance and has no vision in the management of the club. Hiring management is no fun but it is fun to have tons of high #1 draft choice players who have fancy moves and can shoot the puck 100mph. But without proper management, it's putting the cart before the horse and the team has spun its wheels for years. With Pegula at the top, we are going nowhere.

I wonder how this team would do with a new owner. Under Pegula, the Sabres have known nothing but failure, mostly on an epic scale. Seems the best Sabres fans can hope for is mediocrity.

Speaking of wasted roster spots for useless players, I didn't like the honorarium that was gifted to Okposo and to a lesser extent Girgensons. It reminded me of what the Bills have done with Hamlin. The common factor? Pegula.

Hall just can't stay healthy. He should retire.

I'm afraid the Sabres need more gritty vets. They're all too young. Many look like boys. They don't have the maturity it takes for consistency in this league. The team is like having a diet of pure sugar and skipping out on the meat and potatoes. I like the kids in the pipeline but they're all "sugar" players too. More meat and potatoes please. Seems like KA and DG are sugar too because they have constructed a sugar lineup. I don't have any specific recommendations as far as trade targets, but no more sugar please.

If they can't fire any Sabres ACs who can't coordinate a powerplay with top talent, then I say fire Ken Dorsey all over again.

Funny how Charlie McAvoy was the culprit injuring Thompson on both the cut on the foot and firing the puck at Thompson breaking his forearm area. I hope Granato sees the error of his ways and takes Tage off PK. He's too vauable a scorer for that.

Funny how Matt Petgrave's name has been almost completely scrubbed off the internet, especially in continuing news stories of the arrest of a "man" who was arrested for ex-NHLer's skate blade death and released on bail. He is not named in any of these news stories, just identified as a "man." It's obvious it was Petgrave who was arrested. Why are they trying to hide his name?

Once we have our entire roster and Rochester consisting of top #1 draft choices, we'll be fine. 😕

Watching the Boston broadcast. Jack Edwards appears to have gotten better with the elocution but still sounds like a 78rpm record playing at 45rpm. He must have taken classes. Any word on Thompson? Is he out of the game?

I love Gilbert. Saw him play since his rookie year. He lived around the corner from our house back in the day. One time, he drove up, shirtless, into my parents' driveway, interrupting some one-on-one street hockey. He was looking for someone with a riding lawnmower to cut his grass. Those kind of lawnmowers were pretty scarce in those days...Fact is, I would've cut his grass with a pair of scissors if he asked. I knew the guy he was looking for, a fat kid down the street. I hooked them up. And then he was gone. A memory of a lifetime in a span of five minutes. It's a shame he left on a sour note and that the Sabres never offered Gilbert an important lifetime position with the Sabres, for all he's done for Buffalo hockey.

The PK of Sabres' opponents learned about the Sabres last year. They are now focused on containing Dahlin and stuffing Thompson and so far that has worked.
