If Darcy stays on, I will be extremely disappointed in Pegula. Just because he sent his BFF down the river(or was told to do it or be fired) doesn't mean he knows how to BUILD A TEAM. He has been clueless in this regard for the last decade, and I see no reason why that is going to change going forward. If he is still employed after Monday's PC, all I can say is that I am glad I will be out of town the entire week leading up to the draft, and not be home until the Monday after, so I don't have to watch him continue to screw this franchise up.

I always liked Hecht. He was a solid 3rd line forward who was defensively responsible, could fill in when needed on the top 6, and was a good penalty killer.

No better way to end this train wreck of a season than to lose tonight in a blowout. Islanders 6 Sabres 1 Regier better be fired by Monday!

After watching Grigs last night, there is no way he is going to be ready for a top 6 role next year. I'm not even sure he is going to be ready for a bottom 6 role. Please please please don't let him be a bust! :(

Before you fall too much in love with them(Ruhwedel, Pysyk, etc....), just remember that everyone was proclaiming McNabb to be a savior last season after a small number of games, and then he proceeded to spend thIs entire year in the AHL.

The Sabres would have to lose out, but there is still a chance they could bottom out at 5th overall(prior to lottery). No way they are passing Carolina, Florida, Colorado, or Calgary.

You are giving that clown Regier too much credit.

I don't think putting Grigs on one of the top 2 lines is going to make any difference(this year). I know people have high hopes for him, but he was terrible during his time here. I'd get him to Rochester for the rest of this season, and if he still looks like the same player come September, I'd send him back to the Q....again. I would not be surprised if DR kept him here in Buffalo for the rest of the season, so that the potential for Grigs looking bad at the AHL level is avoided, and therefore, he doesn't have to answer any criticism.
