I’m not giving Adams a pass on improving the top 6 just because Ehlers or Necas wouldn’t commit to an extension. There are plenty of fish in the sea who aren’t rentals or have NTC/NMC, that would allow him to better the roster. It’s his job to identify said players and pull the trigger.

I don’t follow the Amerks closely. Are some of the vets being signed capable of dropping the gloves if liberties are being taken with the younglings?

In almost all cases the NCAA & Europe bound players are back with their teams before the prospects challenge occurs.

The good news…after Day 1 of free agency, Adams has not had to part with any of his beloved prospects, and also, no signings of 3 years or longer ensuring that… Thou shalt not block prospects.

If you are a current STH or a prospective one, except for Lindy being hired, there has been nothing to get excited about. Good luck getting the STH numbers up, if this is the best Adams has to offer.
