In regards to Power, getting a large 2nd contract(after playing only 1 year) is not happening in the NFL, pretty sure is not happening in MLB, and have no idea about the NBA.

I have watched very little of the preseason. Until the Sabres show they can play solid team defense, and finally have some above average goaltending, IMO DG & KA are skating on thin ice.

It is really a shame that Dudley left in the prime of his career at the age of 26(after 74-75 season) to go to the WHA. I don't remember much about the circumstances other than $$$. He was not the same player when he returned in 1979.

I understand, and am all in favor of the Sabres keeping him around for this stint.

Preseason and regular season are two different animals.
