Not putting in a claim for Stalock is a joke. Hutton clearly isn't working out, Ullmark is out for a month, and the season is fading fast. What could it hurt to bring in Stalock? It is a no brainer, no risk move. ...or is Hutton such a good soldier, that they can't possibly kick him to the curb?

I don't even think Adams would broach the subject with the Pegula's. I honestly believe he is in a position of "don't rock the boat, stay the course". Now if the Pegula's are the ones initiating the topic, that is a completely different story. Same goes for major moves such as trading Eichel or Reinhart.
-
I absolutely believe this. There is ZERO chance that Adams has the power to fire Ralphie.

My previous post was poorly worded. Yes, I know who Earl is. Yes, I know Earl was a beer vendor at all Aud events. No, he is not whom I am referring to. LOL
-
No..he was at the indoor soccer games. It will come to me eventually.

Ralph Krueger needs to go - like yesterday.

$$$ and a chance to play with Jack, put up big numbers, and then use the season as a springboard to his last big multi-year deal. -
Im hijacking the thread, and not sure it it was the Stallions or the Blizzard, but they had a guy who dressed in a white tux, and was sort of the team mascot/cheerleader. Anyone remember his name? Googled, but no luck.
-
Is Jack just an unlikeable "mass-hole"? Clearly he hasn't won over the fanbase they way Josh Allen has.
-
Hahaha. Stallions then the Blizzard or the other way around?

The problem is clearly more than just Ralph, but what is the key move that needs to take place that will spark the franchise, and get them out of this decade long downward spiral? I don't have the answer. 😞 -
Some good points made, but mostly typical WGR caller "over the top" fake anger. Most points have been discussed here over and over again.

Forget about the idea that the Pegulas will sell the Sabres
LabattBlue replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Aud Club
Who said that? I understand a new stadium is at least 5 years away. I'm just thinking about what their master plan might be. -
Fine...then go find Rudy and Randy Pecorora(or whatever their names where), and revive the Buffalo Blizzard and the indoor soccer league. That would be right up his alley.
-
Bravo. Take a bow. 👏

For those who think the Pegula’s will sell the Sabres in the near future, think again. I believe the plan is still to build the Bills new stadium in the cobblestone/HSBC Atrium/Perry Projects area, and they will have their little kingdom complete...Sabres, Bills, stadium, arena, harbor center, PSE HQ, Labbatt brew house, 716, etc... Of course from a Sabres fan perspective, none of this is good news. Any owner who can run a hockey team so poorly over a decade, gives fans NO HOPE that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

The Pegula’s have backed themselves into a corner, and will continue to dig their heels in. I think they realize they screwed up with hiring Ralph & Kevyn, and on top of that got rid of numerous hockey side of the business positions. I don’t think they change anything in the off-season in terms of off-ice staff, and make minimal changes to the team. I don’t believe Adams has the stones to deal any major pieces off the team except for pending UFA’s...Hall, Staal and Montour. The biggest problem with that? Massive fan base revolt...playing in front of a half filled arena come the fall. Where is the shining star that is the future of the Sabres and gives the fans something to believe in? Ownership, GM, HC, Players...how about none of them?

Didn’t watch a minute of either weekend matinee. I can see it was another solid effort. I’d love to be a fly on the wall for tomorrow’s KA/KP meeting followed by KA/RK meeting. What the heck is being said amongst them? Seriously...are they spouting “stay the course” malarkey? -
Well...clearly Botts and Co, along with the owners(who know more than the fans)...couldn’t see IT!
-
It would be nice if one of the reporters was blunt with Ralphie and asked...”What exactly is it that Jeff Skinner isn’t doing correctly”?
-
I’d like to believe this, but if it is the case, where were said teammates during the 18-19 season exit interviews, stating there are problems with Skinner? You know, the kind of statements that may have convinced the Sabres to let him walk instead of committing $72 mil to him. Then again it wouldn’t surprise me if some of these clowns knew there was a problem playing with Skinner, and still said NOTHING.
