  1. Hockey is pegulas first love - I don’t see him selling. His losses in hockey are easily covered by the cash cow nfl (new stadium costs aside)
  2. Gibson is the answer if Buffalo is the answer for Gibson. What would the cost be? A 2nd and a prospect? UPL and a prospect?
  3. Ehlers will get $7m/year in tax free states that have palm trees, 7.5m per for ones without palm trees and will turn down $15m/year in buffalo
  4. Yes Robertson is a dream, ehlers probably is too. Either work Greenway make as much as FLA’s entire 4th line. One franchise knows how to budget, one does not
  5. You also don’t want to underspend on a guy who by playing with Dahlin will play 20 minutes a night
  6. I like him better than Bryson or that other terrible bottom pair guy who’s name I’ve forgotten.
  7. With a jammed right side, this also makes him more easily traded if he’s not considered a core piece
  8. Quinn is a RWer no? Does this new contract insinuate he’s playing on his off wing? Glass half full - he didn’t demand a trade
  9. Not really - one’s a LWer the other RWer
  10. Why would they start spending to the cap now? Pegula isn’t a proponent that it takes money to make money. He’s not willing to invest in the team and infrastructure as much as needed. And now we have 14 years
  11. The podcast was interesting. Do Pete and rivet typically make things up or truthful?
  12. If Adams had half a brain he’d have josh FaceTime Marner. Josh would do it. Adams isn’t that smart
  13. This has merit for UFA’s (for instance, no way in the world Marner or Ehlers signs here) but generally does not with trades, unless the player has a NMC, which most do not.
  14. Yep that’s what we’ll find out. Not sure JJ will continue at a 14% shooting rate either or put up the points he did last year with a C not as good as tage??
  15. Top line player with bad analytics (and really bad analytics without tage) for a 2ND line dman and a 3rd/4th line player with elite forechecking analytics. I’m the first to admit I didn’t like the trade but then I researched it and it makes sense. Scoring a ton is great unless you’re getting scored on even more when you’re on the ice Yep but that’s not needed as tage drives the play. Robertson is an elite defensive forward who also would get 100 points with tage. I give whatever is needed to get him but I highly doubt Dallas trades him
  16. In Rochester. This sets a horrible precedence - seems all you need to do to get out Buffalo is demand a trade. How long until tage and Dahlin demand out? Btw, Utah has a state tax but I’m told they may have palm trees?? Adams is a joke. He better have a plans to sign a UFA top 6 forward with the money he just saved. He better also resign Byrum to play with Dahlin. Byrums analytics with Dahlin are quite good and pairing Dahlin with the oft-injured p*ssy samuelson on the first line is unacceptable
  17. I think it’s a defender (maybe Smith, as he’s a Penn State guy, I think?). We haven’t taken a defender in rd 1 in a while - other than the obvious 1st overall picks of Dahlin and power (Risto before that I believe)
  18. I don’t like Adams as a GM, he seems like a nice guy. If you listen to him, he gives you any answer you’d need. They’re not buying out Samuelson Tuch is a priority Peterka or his Agent did ask to be traded. If Peterka didn’t ask, he would say he didn’t. If he did he couldn’t say he did as he’d lose leverage on a trade and he couldn’t say he didn’t as he’d be lying and the agent would call him out on it
  19. Well, that seems like a win for Buffalo
  20. Fair but kulich can play wing too
  21. Agreed - Benson = Krebs is a terrible:lousy take
  22. Yep that’s cuz Buffalo was the only team willing to pay him this late in his career + he was sick of Moving every year to a new team. In saying that, he did play well and we could use more zucker’s
  23. If you told me back a few yews ago when they were in the Sabres that Eichel, Reinhart and o’reilly would have 4 Stanley cups and players from the 2017-18 would have 11, I would have been elated, thinking the Sabres won the Stanley cup 2 times. sad and pathetic franchise
  24. Reason for hope: the Bills have the strongest roster they’ve had since the 90s. As for the Sabres, maybe dimwit KA gets lucky in a trade for Byram, Peterka, etc
