Ana got a loser point tonight so we can’t catch them for 9th. - we lose to phi we draft 6th - we beat phi we draft 7th (if pit wins) or 8th if pit gets loser point or loses we get loser point vs phi we draft 7th (if PIT doesn’t lose in regulation) and 8th if Pit loses in regulation we just need to lose so these losers of course are going to win 7-0

This sets up a huge game Thursday vs phi. If Sabres can lose in regulation they get the 6th pick (5th pick if sea can beat LA tonight though unlikely). Losers lose

#6 of #7 draft pick is much better this year than #8 or #8. this has been said since 2011

PIT won last night so they move ahead of us in the standings. Currently we’re sitting 7th and will end up anywhere from 6th to 9th

A bit meaningless and we de this every year. its those little 13 game losing streaks that pop up. Sabres were outplayed in both of the last 2 games badly but won cuz of the goalie. Only hope going forward is Levi becomes all world cuz UPL isn’t it

I give him a C he was at least intelligent enough to not trade Tuch or Peterka. a glaring need at #2 RHD is still there and he needs 2 more zuckers. Hopefully he can get these 3 things in UFA and/or trades. And I think his continuation as GM really relies on Levi becoming a top 15 NHL goalie next year. UPL has proven this year that his best role is as a backup

We need 2 more forwards like Zucker and Greenway along with a top 4 RHD with an ahole attitude. Need a goalie too, Levi may be our only hope as UPL ain’t it

Power needs a talented RHD with a mean streak to play with. Not sure Adams can find that

to be a playoff team he needs to “find” a top 4 RHD, hope Levi turns into a #1 goalie and find 2 more zuckers in the off season. Zucker and McLeod turn our as good as could be expected but UPL ain’t it

The worry about the high performing Roch Amer players is does it translate to the NHL. we desperately need Levi to be the real deal as UPL has been beyond disappointing this year and I think Levi has a good chance, as Goalie’s develop slowly. whom I’m worried about are Östlund, Whalberg and Rosen. The two big Russian Dmen will be interesting to watch too

He should get his chance in BUF soon as UPL has disappointed as much as anyone this year. Though In his brief NHL action this year, Levi has looked hideous. Hope it changes

I’ve been watching them since 5 years old in 1973 and really pretty consistently. I mean I’d watch virtually every single game including west coast games. About halfway through the 13 games loss streak i decided it was enough and haven’t watched a second since. It’s sad, but this joke of a team is not with it and I’m much happier not investing/wasting my time with them.
