Byram is a hell of a skater. Maybe he is Power’s long term partner. If that happens then the trade was well worth it. Its what other moves they make that matter now. im not sold on Cozens at centre. I think he is a high end winger. I think Savoie or Kulich or Celebrini😜 get the shot to fill that role next year. I think Kulich is a winger too. Like a few others have said I don’t hate or love the deal. Let’s see what other moves happen and how Byram fits with Power or Dahlin.

I think as fans we don’t realize how difficult and how long it takes to fully recover from double hip surgery as a goalie. I think maturing as a goalie and getting fully healthy is what we are currently seeing. He is the goalie at the NHL level that we saw in the OHL and at the WJCs.

Good game. They are playing much harder. Question is where was this in the first half of the season? PP looks much better so why has it taken this long to figure it out. Winnipeg might be the most playoff ready team right now. Them and Florida.

Two years in a row this team has pissed away half a season and then decides to play down the stretch with impossible odds. Ive said it before but the pieces are here. Last year goaltending and D coverage hurt them this season the offence and PP have let them down. UPL continues to impress another game with 2 or less goals. Play him tomorrow against Winnipeg.

Huh? We all saw Boosh play here last year. He was not effective. He has like 4 points and is -13 in Anaheim. The only reason Leafs gave a 3rd is because they are desperate, are praying he returns to form of years ago playing with Reilly and they had the Ducks retain 50% because they have no space. Marner had to play D for half the game last night. This is just a warm body to put in the lineup.
