  1. Steelers lose at home to the Cardinals and Pats in the same week.
  2. It’s Pegula. He trusts Adams and feels he has been burned by others so Adams is his comfort blanket. He won’t get rid of him. Adams isn’t going to change his stripes. He believes in his plan. Maybe he shakes up the coaching staff but I just don’t care anymore. 13 years and no closer to a contending team. Huys like Laviolette and Tocchet go in and change the culture and expectations immediately. If Matt Ellis is truly in charge of the PP then the franchise is hopeless at this point.
  3. This 13 year run just sucks
  4. Pegula trusts Adams, he won’t fire him. Adams is dead set on this developing from within concept. It is yielding no results. All they know how to do is lose because it is all this organization has experienced. I haven’t watched the last 5 games. I just can’t bring myself to do it anymore. I just don’t care. They can win the lottery and it won’t make a difference. They need a complete philosophical change. Tocchet goes into Vancouver and holds everyone accountable. Tells them to play hard and earn their ice time. They made no big roster changes yet they are having a very good season. They need a seasoned GM who knows how to win and assemble a team to win and a coach that can install accountability and a defensive system. I just don’t see Pegula doing it and so the pain goes on and on and on and on.
  5. So Macklin Celebrini, Welcome to Hell😛
  6. Goes right to not having your team prepared to play.
  7. This is an absolute mess. There doesn’t seem to be any understanding of the system and accountability needed to succeed in the NHL. unfortunately this franchise has seen zero success since Pegula bought the team. He trusts Adams and he is his guy but it doesn’t look like they are any closer to icing a competitive team. I have no answers. I mean if someone would buy them and keep them in Buffalo who would hire some competent, successful NHL people to run the team that would be a best case scenario at this point. I have been a diehard fan since the early 80s and I can’t be bothered watching the games anymore. It’s just so sad.
  8. Levi has always been a stud in shootouts
  9. Yeah his size/physical package is still coveted by teams looking for “Playoff Warrior” types.
  10. Once again Dreger with the in depth scoops: “a forward” Some context would be nice: top 6 scoring winger, bottom 6 defensive forward with grit, bottom 6 defensive centre with faceoff ability.
  11. I’m surprised at how little Zadorov got in return. I was expecting a first or decent prospect.
  12. Or that Bryson would have played 3 games all year. I think R Johnson is here to stay.
  13. Well that is one way to get out of the contract if true.
  14. He probably dreaded the long trip from Buffalo to Rochester. Just too far.
  15. I missed this conversation. Is it just people wishing the Sabres would sign Reinhart or is there a rumour out there about it?
  16. Skinner Mitts Tuch Peterka Tage Quinn Greenway Cozens Benson Would be a good Top 9
  17. Sabres 2005-06. They had so much depth. What made it work is that’ Drury-Grier could fill the defensive role that a bottom 6 line usually is asked to do.
  18. Levi being sent down opened up a roster spot. They used it to bring up Biro.
  19. So the Kane discussion was 95% “we don’t want him, he’s terrible defensively, you don’t come back from this injury, he’s washed, they are going to make a huge mistake signing him, he doesn’t fit anywhere” Now that he signed somewhere else it is that the Sabres really missed out on him.😂🤣
  20. No one knows what happened but it seems very serious for this to be going on. I don’t think any team touches him until details come out of what took place
  21. https://www.nhltraderumors.me/2023/11/emotional-gm-opens-up-on-very.html Hawks GM says Perry situation has nothing to do with other players or their families. Says rumours are disgusting. Sounds like he did something at the arena or facility.
  22. Apparently Kane turned down numerous multi year deals. He wanted one year to assess where he was at. Greg Wyshynski of ESPN reports: “This is what Kane wanted. An NHL source told me that Kane had multi-year offers on the table from other teams. But Kane and his representatives wanted a one-year deal and a chance to reevaluate his next steps after this season.”
  23. If this means that I don’t have to watch Cooley play goal for the Amerks then this might be the move of the year.😛
