  1. The thing I like about Adams is that he has little ego and is open to everything to get better. He sees as analytics as something that can help rather then something that might expose that he doesn’t know as much as he thinks. Between Karmanos and the Analytics hires the Sabres are moving towards a very forward thinking FO. It will always come down to the GM to make the final decision but Adams comes across as a guy that will get everyone’s input and use all the tools available to help make that decision.
  2. Power, Krebs, Quinn and Levi on Team Canada. Can I sign up for that reality?😁
  3. I remember people quitting Bills fandom because they took Allen over Josh Rosen.
  4. Remember when they didn’t have a 300 yard passer for how many years?😀
  5. He is not Gretzky, Crosby or McDavid. He is his own player. I hope these media people lay off all the comparisons and let him carve out his own game.
  6. Krebs is to Lazar as Cozens is to Gord Donnelly🤪
  7. 71 and 74 seem like shells of their early season selves.
  8. But still, at one point Eakin, Hayden, Bjork, Butcher and Prow were the 5 man unit on the ice. Terrifying. Ellis has never been a head coach. I’ll give em a pass on last night but agree they need to step up tonight. They had a game to adjust to all the changes and Isles haven’t played in a while.
  9. That 6 beside Skinner is painful, so very painful.
  10. Shane Wright will now be a 7th Round pick based on his WJC performance.😃
  11. Samuelsson is in Covid protocol with Pekar, Malone and a couple others.
  12. I’m convinced Ray Ferraro gets a grand every time he mentions Cole Perfetti.😂
  13. I’m a Canadian and this will be a tough game to sit through.
  14. I agree but there were people here jumping off bridges that Quinn was a bust because he didn’t have 2 ppg.
  15. https://hockeyprospect.com/2022-nhl-draft-top-32-ranking-hockeyprospect-com-december-26-2021/ These rankings are ...uh.... interesting.
  16. The package is noticeable but he has no results yet. SWeden are deep and he is not being used in an offensive role. He seems to be very alert defensively and has broken up a handful of opportunities. His wheels are elite when he gets a chance to use them. He is slight of build. Rosen is a homerun risk type pick. The hope is he puts on weight and in 3-4 years is a star player with his skating and shot.
  17. Rosen’s career is over. He will never recover from this. Are the Sabres allowed to disown him before the tournament even ends? They didn’t do it with Jack Quinn during last year’s tournament and we are stuck with him now.😜
  18. How is it going down? Results in a men’s professional league trump a couple games in an U20 tournament. And what has done wrong in the WJCs so far?
  19. Watching him at the World Championships, Michigan and at the WJCs the thing that stands out to me is his ability to use his body to shield the puck, twist and turn his body to avoid checkers and chip a pass out of danger or rifle a pass on the tape to an open man. Then in the offensive zone he either plays rover or runs the pp from the point. He won’t be a shutdown standout physically but he uses his reach and body position to be effective while being an impact player at the offensive end.
  20. Those fans don't deserve Nice things and will never be happy with anything. Such a sad way to go thru life.
  21. Bills slapped the Pats Power with at hat trick an Player of the Game award. Today was a Good Day!!😀 Draft implications: David Jiricek looks like he blew out his knee trying to throw a hit. Not Good.
  22. He didn’t play a lot. Sweden has a deep team. When he did play his speed and skill was on display. He is slight, he will have to fill out over the next couple years.
  23. I have never watched Askarov have a good game. Yikes
  24. One of Power’s biggest strengths is making the right little pass in the d zone that allows his team to break out of the zone consistently. Novikov plays a physical game, knocked down a couple Canadians. Between Askarov and Cossa, the goaltending was shaky at times.
