A healthy Anderson would be the best trade chip by far. Teams will be freaked out about goalie depth this season. A vet playoff goalie playing well with a minimum salary would be gold for some playoff contenders.

Why are the American Olympians still playing? Portillo is very good. He is not a product of being on a stacked team. As others have mentioned, Michigan doesn’t shut it down defensively. Portillo often bails them out. Earlier in the season he would get himself out of position but he has cleaned that up. When all the Olympians are gone it will be interesting how he plays. I don’t think any team has 3 goalie prospects that compare to UPL, Levi and Portillo.

Frank Nazar seems to be the sexy “It” prospect of the moment.

1st round picks and top prospects usually don’t get moved to third teams. It is usually 2nd or 3rd round picks for taking on salary. Agree with your idea though.
