  1. Mitts after seeing the lines: “I’m still injured.”😁
  2. Now that Slafkovsky is obviously going 1st OA How is that going to change everything?😛 The Sabres pick this year will really be dictated by their draft position and where the teams picking in front of them see these players. Which is always the case but this year there doesn’t seem to be any real structure of where these kids are ranked and it could be a real free for all as far as where players are picked this season. This year more then any I don’t think the draft sites rankings will match up with the individual team’s internal rankings.
  3. As the kids like to say, Tage is a unicorn. No other team in the league can throw a 6’7 offensive centre over the boards. Man what a load Tage and Tuch would be in a playoff series. He has all the physical tools it is just a matter of him realizing mentally that he can dominate consistently.
  4. In a strange way Krebs being called up and Quinn being injured is helping JJ’s development in that he has stepped into the “I’m the Man” role for the Amerks. Kid has looked great lately. Keep it up!!
  5. As people have said, this team is fun to watch. For me, for the first time in a long time I can see the puzzle for a good team. The outside pieces are all snapping together and there are enough pieces on the table to see it all fitting together. Put your hands up if before the season you had Skinner and Tage part of a legit top line for the Sabres. Tuch is a blessing. He won’t be as naturally talented as Jack but I think he will be more impactful to the team when you factor in on ice production, enthusiasm for the organization, leadership and culture building. Finally a captain that should be captain. Guys like Cozens and Krebs are not yet wheee they will be as polished players but you see the flashes of what is to come. My biggest takeaway is that the future core of Tuch, Tage, Dahlin, Cozens, Krebs, Quinn, Power all have good attitudes. I would add Mitts but the kid needs a to catch a health break first. There is a lot of lifting to do still but I think the train is finally on the track. One of the young goalies stepping up (I think Levi) will be huge to taking the next step. There is some more suffering to come but it is worth sitting through to watch them grow.
  6. LOL Toker. Why the heck is he on his knees. That goal is inexcusable.
  7. I hope Adams is the third team in a couple deals to take on some salary and gain assets. It would allow him to move whoever he wants without worrying about the cap floor.
  8. Nice goal by Tage Lindros!😁
  9. Dahlin and Power will be known for their offensive chops and ability to move the puck. They will not be known for their defensive chops like most young top dmen. They need to be on separate pairs anchored on the right side by dmen that are strong defensively. I don’t know if those players are on the roster. If they could find two McKenzie Weegars that would be great.😁
  10. I’m not rooting for Canada to lose but their lineup isn’t very strong. Most of the players are vet role players on European teams. The kids (Power, Johnson, McTavish, Levi) are their most talented guys but there are not enough of them or aren’t in the lineup🤪
  11. Even if all he was going to amount to was a good AHL player you still sign him. You have to have depth in the organization. Botts was a bad GM and this was just one example of it.
  12. Hagel played a gritty game which Buffalo was desperate for at the time. Even if he didn’t have decent junior numbers he was worth the flyer. He did have good junior numbers though too so it was an absolute head scratcher.
  13. https://twitter.com/ChiSportUpdates/status/1493327963957477384?s=20&t=9abyBG7XHSRNPqud5SRNlQ LOL. The 6th round pick that Botts deemed wasn’t worthy of an ELC. What a joke Botts was.
  14. This is one of those trades where Montreal got stuff but none of it is very good. Late 1st, cash dump that is mediocre bottom 6 guy, like Calgary’s 12th best prospect and a 5th round pick.

  16. Again, I couldn’t hear the whole conversation but Healy and Poulin were talking about who is in charge of the lineup and then I heard Healy say “Don’t do it Buffalo” So I am jumping to conclusions but I think that is what the conversation was.
  17. I think he was talking about the Pegulas.
  18. I couldn’t hear but it sounded like Healy and Poulin at the intermission were talking about Buffalo pulling Levi from the tournament.
  19. You are doing this all wrong. You are not supposed to make rational, intelligent points. This is a fan board. You are supposed to say all is doomed and all is lost. Sabres are screwed and gone regardless. Try better next time.😜😁 I think if the Pegulas do want to sell the Sabres they will make sure the team stays in Buffalo. Especially if they still own the Bills.
  20. Hugelin and Kozak are two Sabres prospects that are going to rocket up the team prospect rankings over the next year.
  21. So what is the rumour? Pegulas just going to sell everything: Bills, Sabres, Buffalo buildings and land or they just considering the Sabres? This seems about right for Buffalo. The Sabres finally have a plan in place that looks like there is some light at the end of the tunnel and a new owner will come in, change everybody and start another new plan.:“Let’s sacrifice the kids to try and compete next year”
  22. https://twitter.com/716FuturePod/status/1492494984850911234?s=20&t=wwLE0mmnodagMC9GAqgJQg Kozak on fire!
  23. Thanks Pasquale. You can take your seat in the stands for the rest of the tournament.
  24. Not bad for a midget bust.😀
  25. Do you have an example? Is it just random twitter fans or any hockey insider types?
