  1. Schneider for Olofsson and we publicly state that Drury was the real Captain and Briere was just an Assistant Captain.😜
  2. Husso might be the top option but I would be scared of signing another goalie from St. Louis coming off one good year.😛😁 That is where you really need your pro scouts to come through for you. If Letang is just looking for a payday then he would be a good mentor for Power but that might be a tough sell.
  3. You are right. That changes everything.😀 I wouldn’t give up a package for 1 year of Kane.
  4. My thought was only if Chicago wants to blow it up and Kane says he wants out the Hawks want his salary off the books. Something like some combination of: Rosen, Vegas 1st, Florida 1st, Laaksonen, Polpatov. I could live with a package including a couple of those type pieces but not our high end guys which would probably be a non starter for Chicago. I don’t think it is likely, and it is not our biggest need at all. It would be a fun big ticket cap hit that would probably want to come here if the Hawks and Kane decided to divorce. I mean it makes more sense to wait 2 years and sign him as a ufa but he will be 35 at that point and may not fit at all or be at his productive level by that point.
  5. That is $22 million just to get to the floor. How do you spend the money? Goalie has got to be number one priority. An NHL proven solid starter. I don’t mind term if it is a great fit. I’m not convinced UPL is the heir apparent and Levi and Portillo will need time before we know where they stand at the NHL level. A RHD that can play top 4 is second. Either signing or trade but someone reliable that can play at a high level and be a mentor for Power. Many people won’t like this but I wonder if a perfect storm is brewing if Chicago and Patrick Kane decide to part ways. If he wants to finally come home to end his career. He will have 2 years left at $10.5 per, money the Sabres could use for the cap. The deal would only work for me if we take all the cap in exchange for not giving up any of our core young pieces for a 33 year old winger. We would have to add the goalie and dman first to show Kane we could be competitive. Not likely to happen but food for thought. How would you spend the money?
  6. Tuscon are refusing the loan.😜
  7. Can’t believe you got Savoie at 69 and Nemec at 134.😛 Looks like the Liger dream draft came true.😀
  8. Fully agree. I need to see a couple moves to start to push this team forward. A legit goalie, a good defensive RHD that can play top 4 and another scoring winger. The kids will help replacing the expendables but they need to show they are serious about winning next season.
  9. Problem solved! He is just returning from a knee injury so he will be rusty.😛🤣 ”The Arizona Coyotes have placed goaltender Carter Hutton on waivers. In three appearances this season with the Coyotes, Hutton had a 0-2-0 record, 7.76 goals-against average, and .741 save percentage.“
  10. This will be like last year where the draft sites had McTavish 8 or 9th and he went 3rd. Draft sites lean more to the speed/skill water bugs where NHL teams still covet size/skill combination they deem more valuable come playoff time. I will be very surprised if he is not drafted top 3 come draft day.
  11. LOL I feel bad for you every time you post.
  12. It can both be a bad trade and the Sabres can be happy with how Tage and Ryan Johnson are developing.
  13. WTF are you even talking about?
  14. Then why are you here? Just to troll?
  15. Dahlin is started to get much more physical. He is 21 he is coming along in all aspects of his game including physical play.
  16. Good effort boys. No shame. That is BS that the Dahlin no call takes him out of the play and let the Avs score.
  17. NHL teams still love size. I don’t Slafskovsky goes #1 but I will be suprised if he isn’t top 3 come draft day.
  18. Regardless of how the game ends up it is nice to see the young guys really stepping up their games against top competition. Tage continues to develop. Dahlin has looked great. Cozens and Krebs look good and nice to see Mitts back and creating.
  19. Agree. I think Slafkovsky might be his biggest challenge when it is all did and done.
  20. Shane Wright with 3 more points last night. He is starting to bring it. I think he is 1 OA come draft day.
  21. He is 19, let him play. Michigan wouldn’t let him play last year. His Frozen Four was taken by Covid, his WJC this year was ended after a few games by Covid. If he wants to go let him go.
  22. Awful hockey tonight. Sabres are off, especially Skinner. Can they gut out a win here when no one seems on their game?
  23. What is Adams talking about here with patience? He should be burying him as a bust after a half season of development.😛
