  1. The fraudulent votes have got to go. The suppression is a process issue than can be fixed..
  2. This is my stand as well... I like the purple ink stain the Iraqi's used too.. That prevents you from voting twice in the same day.
  3. Another spell binding performance by our pop gun QB. This time against the team predicted to be the worst team in the league.. Another late season stat line: 8-11 for 56 yards and a TD. If the TD was 31 yards, then his other 7 completions were 7 for 25 yards.. That's a smoking hot 4 yards per completion. I can hear the chants for Young already.
  4. GOP over confidence. Done!
  5. The kind of champagne or Stanley Cup or both that you buy in a second hand store?
  6. I was talking to a European recently and he commented that their perception of Americans is that all we care about are guns, politics and religion. hmmm....
  7. Mosquitos are the number one killer of humans throughout history surpassing even humans. Show some respect... :flirt:
  8. So my son collects things about Presidents. Today in the Crystal City Shops, Arlington, VA, he wanted to buy a couple of Bobbleheads. The Obama one costs $8.95 .... The Romney one costs $24.95 ...... We only bought one .... Read into that what you will .......
  9. Rivet was also thought to be a real asset on the PP.
  10. Chrysler paid most back. GMAC owes quite a bit and we of course own all that GM stock. Article just today says our losses are up to 25B as our 500M shares continue to drop. That is down from initial Obama administration estimate of 44B.
  11. Agreed If the issues were truly black and white, they'd be easy to solve.. Here is an interesting tidbit.. So even the "idealogue" voted for the bailout. "In the fall of 2008, Ryan voted for TARP. Later that year, he voted for loans to help rescue the auto industry, making him one of just 32 Republicans to do so — and his vote came after Romney wrote the New York Times op-ed titled “Let Detroit go bankrupt.” Full article at: http://www.politico....0812/79688.html And since we're discussing the auto bailout, here is the Romney Op Ed ...http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/19/opinion/19romney.html?_r=2
  12. He finished the speech by claiming they're going to take North Carolina only to be told he was actually in Virginia.... That's why they keep him on a short leash...
  13. HockeyInsider?
  14. This is fun.. Was looking for that Stockdale moment and found this.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mK554srzuk
  15. Last summer there was Sabres news galore... This year, the lack of Sabres' news is depressing... Even the News can't generate a weekend update...
  16. Reminds me of a Man Show spoof a few years back..
  17. I was wondering when you would come over... This thread is like a plate of brownies... You know you shouldn't but you just can't resist...
  18. So here is the exact quote from the "You didn't get there on your own" speech... "Look, if you've been successful, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own. I'm always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something -- there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business -- you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn't get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet." As I read the words together, I think he is trying to say that the foundations of this country and its ideals as well as the people that came before you laid the groundwork for you to be successful. Unfortunately for him, if you just grab the soundbite that has the snippets "Look, if you've been successful, you didn't get there on your own." or "If you've got a business -- you didn't build that", they sound bad.
  19. So I had to look up THE word of the 2012 campaign, ideologue. I love how politicians label each other ideologues. I honestly can't tell the difference between any of today's politicians. To me, they're all ideologues. So my question is do you think being labeled an ideologue will matter to Joe Public?
  20. I agree with this. People migrate to what is comfortable.
  21. I aways thought it was because they're "fair and balanced"............ :flirt:
  22. I never warmed up to Rivet. His tank was empty before he got to Buffalo.
  23. Nah.. It's no holds barred.. It'll either flame out on its own accord, or people will drift away.
  24. My guess is it isn't about the taxes he paid. My guess is that there are some income associations he would like to delay as long as possible from getting out there.. The longer you delay, the less time there are for the Democratic sleuths to find and make commercials with.
  25. Well that should chum the waters...
