  1. She could be on an episode of Perms Gone Wild...
  2. So I just watched the 60 Minutes story on "No Easy Day". What an incredible story. Say what you will about Obama, but on the anniversary of 9/11, I must reflect that he had the nerve to take care of business. I'm going out today and getting the book. To all those that perished on 9/11 and to all those that perished avenging 9/11, I will never forget. godspeed and God Bless...
  3. I'm having a hard time figuring out whose who in the zoo....
  4. The handwriting has been on the wall for months. Shame we have to spend 1B on advertising to confirm the obvious. Imagine if Congress could actually use the next sixty days to do something productive, like pass some authorization bills.
  5. It doesn't have to be bad (although that greatly helps), it just needs a good scouting department. Wasn't Brady a 7th round pick? It has been sooooo long since they hit a homerun in the draft, that I can't recall the last one. (Dareus is too young to judge yet). Gone are the days when the team drafted Kelly, Smith, Thomas and Reed, Gone are the days when they traded for Biscuit and Paup. Instead we have been treated to a never ending list of non-franchise-type players who either flame out, injury-out or flat out, opt out of the Bills. And under the blind squirrel analogy, when they do find a decent player (eg Moulds), they squander his career by playing him on a bad team during the best years of his career. This team is in such a sustained funk that it may never recover.
  6. We wait five hours in emergency rooms too... True story.. We paid a recent visit to an ER in PA. Never even got into an observation room. Stayed on a stretcher in the ER hallway the whole time. Rooms were available by the way. After five hours of mostly waiting and one mobile Xray, we were released. Price of laying on a stretcher, in a hospital ER being largely ignored (no meds, food or drink offered/given) was $6,700. Medical insurance wiped out 95% of this bill.. Our system in the US is beyond kabusted...
  7. Good thing we have a deep bench of starting WRs and TEs.. Sheesh,,
  8. What is so utterly frustrating to me is this franchise and the karma surrounding it absolutely resists all attempts to improve. Buffalo is the only franchise that could add a talent like Mario and make him completely disappear. While teams are breaking in the next generation QBs, Buffalo is trying to muddle along with a weak armed, QB with a "gunslinger" mentality. Wonderful.. So just as Luck and RGIII are establishing themselves, Buffalo is waiting yet another season to hit their stride. Where is the ingenuity that is suppose to come with Gailey. He runs THE MOST BLAND and PREDICTABLE offense in the entire NFL. Where is the defensive genius of Wannstadt? Buffalo let a guy name Kerley beat them yesterday. When Kerley wasn't embarassing the DBs, a rookie name Hill was.
  9. Discussion fodder: 1. So Obama, the Union-friendliest President, since well, Lincoln (apparently big fan of the Union too :-), installed his good buddy as Chicago Mayor. Seems like the Chicago Mayor and his Teacher's Union are not getting along and as a result, the third largest school system is striking this AM. Do you think Mitch, as David Lettermen likes to call him, can figure out a way to exploit this? Is this strike bad for Democrats who haven't met a Union they don't like? Per CNN, the average salary of a Chicago teacher is 76K. They apparently are pissed that Rahm reneged on a 4% raise last year. 2. Obama gets the bounce that Isaac and the Republicans denied Williard. 3. Obama out raises Mitt last month and hauled in a staggering 114M. Obama now has the cash to compete in TV land. 4. Talking heads on Meet The Press this weekend say Mitt is down to debate performance or he is DOA. We know Obama's style as we watched him destroy Hillary Rodham. I think Mitt can't possibly out debate Obama, so it strikes me as he is officially DOA. Mitt lacks charisma. Charisma wins.
  10. So my problem with the health care act is it doesn't lower my costs whatsoever. I pay 9K per year between premiums, and co-pays. No one is trying to curtail my runaway costs. Do you think 9K a year is affordable health care? I sure as heck don't. I remember $3 prescriptions. Now under my "affordable" healthcare they can be anywhere from $20-100. I remember $5 co-pays. Now they can be $20-who knows how they calculate my co-pay. Ambulance rides are $600 now. Dental costs are absolutely out of control. Did they address that, heck no. I could go on and on. Neither party cares about my health care costs. Neither one does.
  11. The D-line pass rush, fail The secondary, epic fail Special teams, fail O-line pass protect, fail Coaching, fail Fitzpatrick, epic fail Run defense, ok Run blocking, ok Receivers, ok Injuries brutal Score: absolute embarrassment
  12. WGR is just as upset as the rest of us and decided to just cancel the post game?
  13. OMG that might have been the worst interception of his career..
  14. You can sure imagine the press tomorrow. All that money on the DL and no pressure whatsoever. The Bills are probably the only team in the NFL that defy any and all attempts to improve. GoDD was so certain they are making progress. I know it's only 1/32 of the NFL season, but the secondary is getting beaten by the NYJs and their making it look easy. Fitz couldn't hit a receiver if there was no one covering him. FJ is dinged and will not return. 3 turnovers and a ST TD. Let's see what they do with the opening drive of the second half.
  15. Even if they don't complete it, the Bills need to throw one deep. The Jets are just sitting on all the short stuff.
  16. I could not disagree more. The Jets are pushing them into Fitz and allowed a real hard hit to him. He has no time to throw. CJ gives us some hope.. Man I thought FJ was done after that hit...
  17. When you refuse to build an offensive line and you try to make someone else's second string QB into your starting QB, you get what the Bills have. McKelvin looking like toast out there and now Gilmore gets smoked.
  18. Let's just see if the new DL can turn this franchise around. If Green gets 100 yards today, we'll have out answer.
  19. I liked the ...operating government-free since 1991 line.... ...... New topic ...... CNN is reporting 400,000 people have dropped out of the labor force.. 400,000 in a month... Sheesh..
  20. That is in fact disappointing..
  21. I took it on face value. In fact, never would have given it a second thought.. So I just wiki'd fallen angels and get why some might not like the term....
  22. I understood..
  23. There isn't an ounce of my fiber that could have voted for Ms Rodham.... And to keep the record straight, it was only one vote for Billy Blythe.. :--)
  24. I just read Mitt's first name is Williard.. I honestly didn't know that... How oh how can we vote for a man named Williard?
  25. Tale of two masks. Not sure what the right side represents.
