  1. Sure, do the poll. But then, list RFA’s that may be available... I’m thinking of the teams tight against the cap. Something may shake loose.
  2. Yep. And that percentage will creep down over the next 6 years. He’s a bigger center that is defensively responsible. And can play wing if need be. It’s a solid fair signing.
  3. I bet the vast majority of hockey fans want STL to win the cup. ESPN or some media network should do a poll. I bet it would end up being 75% STL, 25% BOS.
  4. Too bad.... I’m using RK. Maybe mix in a Kru once in a while
  5. I just got my STH mailing/first invoice. With it is a 3” refrigerator magnet of the 50th logo idea. Meh. Not bad. Not amazing. What eva ... 40 home games, two preseason games and voucher for an Amerks game in Roch.
  6. Ohhh lol ... baby shark tune. Like the soldiers are the Blues and calling the Sharks “baby sharks”. Kinda obscure. Kinda fits. ?
  7. Karlsson, Hertl, and Pavelski may not be in the lineup. That’s huge. Blues are playing a heavier game than the Sharks. Binnington looks more poised. Don’t get me wrong, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Sharks pull off a win tonight. I just think they won’t.
  8. https://www.nhl.com/video/day-with-the-cup-shelley-looney/t-288865742/c-68230703 So so good! For Buffalo women’s/girls hockey.
  9. I’m rather ambivalent about Girgensons. If he stays, he’s a serviceable 4th liner who can play spot duty on the 3rd line. If he goes, he’s not hard to replace.
  10. I’ll predict SJS takes the series lead today at home. Kane, Thornton or Pavelski with a goal.
  11. And I’ll bet we don’t get shafted. Buffalo Beauts and the management of it, was one of if not the best in the NWHL. It didn’t go unnoticed. And Buffalo is perfectly placed geographically for a league in the northeast. Not to mention ticket sales/merch sales were strong compared to the other teams.
  12. The whole league knows what he can bring to a team. He’s getting 7.5 - 8.5 per. And he’s getting max or near max term..... from some team. Don’t fall victim to the “out of sight, out of mind” mind set. He’s a hell of a player and every GM knows it. With the cap going up and up over the next 7 years, his cap percentage will look better and better every year. Unless his production falls off a cliff of course.
  13. I think he blames himself for not being proactive throughout the season in acquiring much needed help. But he also blames Housley for his system, his lack of in game adjustments, and not having the team more ready when the puck dropped. Our biggest need today (roster wise) is the same hole that was created on July 1st 2018. 2nd line center. JB better address it this summer. And if Skinner walks, that’s the next big hole. I’m hopeful most of the other issues will get better or resolve itself with a new coach, staff and system.
  14. I hope things turn out good for you NB :highfive:
