Well most knowledgeable hockey people would put him that category of scorer , not checker nor playmaker nor defensive forward. I mean that's what 35-40 goal scorers are categorized as by hockey people.

A digger, checker, net front presence with size and strength (Simmonds), a playmaker who can skate and handle the puck (MoJo) and a scorer, sniper in (Skinner). The speed match between the 3 is reasonable as well.

I like the lineup Ralph trotted out today. It looks decent on paper and gives me some optimism. Skinner-Mojo-Wayne should work in theory. Then the fourth line of Vesey-Lazar-Frolik and Kahun can duke it out and will be motivated hopefully.

He's not a bad hockey player, he's a couple years removed from being at his peak. He is an aging hockey player who for a fifth is worth taking the chance he can help.

Try something different for crying out loud. Most coaches will shuffle things up when they are not going well. I wish someone would ask Ralph where we would be in the playoff race if we showed up to beat Ottawa, Montreal, Detroit et al. I'll tell you, right in the thick of things. Where the hell is the desperation needed by a coach and team.

Eichel is a better all around player, Matthews is a great scorer of goals. 3 best all arounds IMO are McDavid, MacKinnon and Eichel 3 best scorer are Ovechkin, Matthews and Pastrnak

The biggest problems we have in the playoff race. 1. Ourselves , we need to win games in regulation. 2. the number of teams ahead of us in the standings. 3. Other than that no problem.
