This has been the best season since I started following the Sabres. It has been the highest scoring season, and best defensive season I have witnessed.* *This has also been my first following NHL hockey and the sabres! Go Sabres, can't wait till October and the beginning of another record breaking season.

We stayed in Kauai for one of the weeks of our honeymoon. It really is ace. Book a car though. Buses are.... Relaxed. Apparently there are companies that rent out older cars for cheaper than the ones at the airport. Smith family luau (sp?) was great. Waimei canyon was cool. Gotta surf too.

I've just ordered my first pair of skates. Last time my feet were in hockey skates (my dad's) I fell and broke my arm! That was over 20 years ago. Bit sick of the hire skates now though.... Wish me luck.

Anaheim have played a couple more games though. But PH could pull some more magic out his hat and surprise us with a run of awful results.
