I tend to agree, but even if they didn’t make the playoffs I wouldn’t be upset. They need cost controlled help, a higher draft pick in both the 1st and 2nd rd would definitely help. I’d also look to trade to get another 2nd. But I have 0 faith that Beane can get the picks right.

Every game forward is a battle for this team, even the Jets game. I recognized this season as a retool year, so I wasn’t overly concerned, but the amount of positions that need to be addressed because Beane whiffed in multiple drafts with first and second rd picks is definitely a grave concern. I’m questioning Beane’s ability to GM, it’s not a good track record.

Yes unfortunately, the Sabres are for real. Being a Sabres fan is much like Charles Hall walking with the Tall Whites, We keep telling ourselves it’s not real, but it’s right in front of us. 😂

So, there are no roads to Orchard Park? People walk 10, 20 miles to Bills games?

Why?

Why does it have to stay downtown? What is the reasoning? when other players are taking photos from their hotel rooms of crumbling 100+ year old grain silos and boarded up 100+ year old factory sites, I find Orchard Parks location a no brainer.

A new arena, right where Rich stadium is across from the new stadium would be the route to go. They can keep KBC up with the hotel in downtown, turn it into the worlds largest killer whale tank for all I care, but a new arena away from the city of Buffalo would definitely be the way to go. Since downstate and Albany have sucked the life out of WNY for well over a half a century, the stadium AND a new arena is the least they can do.

They aren’t going to do anything. To myself in any event, the owner needs to go. Everything the organization is, is based on the owners vision.

The Sabres are bad at hockey, fire everyone, make moves for the future, blow it up & rebuild……..yada, yada, yada. Things we’ve heard over the past 15 seasons. Wash, rinse, repeat.

The NHL may very well be stepping in behind closed doors with Terry is my suspicion. He’s damaged an organizational brand for so long now and the NHL has to be feeling the financial as well as optics hit, albeit small market such as it is it was prior to Pegula a solid entrenched small market following the bankruptcy years. Just my hunch is all.

I think he’s implying the job isn’t getting done, go get the guy that can get it done.

I honestly don’t believe this is possible. I have resigned myself to believing this team has started its annual 12 to 18 game losing streak early this season in earnest. I really do not see the Sabres winning another game until after the new year.

NO MORE TANKING!!!!! I want them to start winning. Or at the very least competing with some consistency, which means, START WINNING!!!!! Thank you for letting me get that out, my apologies to the neighbors.

I mean, it sucks for Kulich and all the guys injured. We shouldn’t panic however, under the sound building through the draft strategy Kevyn Adams has vocally articulated to the fan base, everything should be ok…….

Diet maybe? Good question though.

This is where many are at. They have proven they cannot get the job done, and as many tell me, they do it in spectacular fashion. My personal take, I do not believe this GM and Coach tandem can get us to Super Bowl victory. But my view means nothing, Pegula is the only one that matters. If change is done, better to do it now then allow this tandem to continue any decision making personnel wise going forward. That is of course, just my opinion.

I don’t have any answers, merely commenting on what many are saying. I can say this much, there wasn’t a lot of love out there for Beane and McDermott before the season started given the past 4 or so seasons of failures, a couple of them in spectacular fashion (13 seconds, Diggs playoff game winning dropped pass), and the trade that sent Worthy to KC and Coleman here. Allen needs help, not just on the field, but the play calling. That should be obvious to all by now. Allen, Cook, we have the tools for a balanced 1 - 2 punch offense, but lack in wr speed and, as it stands now, the inability of the OC to use the talent he has in a game plan. Just my view is all.
