  1. Tage is much to slow to lead a rush. This team is not built correctly, and no matter how much Kyven would like us to believe otherwise, it's more than abundantly clear this season will be another disappointment unless he and his staff make efforts to change the roster deffeciencies. As I am being accustomed to saying now, the fans verbal beatings of the organization will continue until the win / loss record improves.
  2. You see, it all started a long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away......
  3. Puck possession is everything. Have the puck, fail to clear the zone. And the beat goes on.
  4. Where's this opponent from? Hard to tell, I don't recognize the logo, looks like an even mix of vowels and consonants.
  5. Buffalo would be closest to his significant other. He'll fit right in....
  6. If Pegula sold the Sabres and the team was relocated the Bills would suffer immensely. The fan bases overlap heavily, this is a small market. Pegula would become the most despised person in Buffalo history.
  7. The league won't step in for years still. There's still some juice up on the oranges inner skin to squeeze out of the market yet. Once that's been done they'll move the team to their next victim market.
  8. Exactly. Some broke earlier, much earlier, some have yet to break, but there is no denying an overwhelming majority of this organizations fan base has reached their breaking point with the mentioned above 14 yrs of results. It should be expected, 14 yrs is a long time in the seasonal sports world.
  9. I'd normally agree, I just cannot this time. 13 heading to 14 seadons now. The cycle of losing must end, the culture of defeat must stop, immediately. I cannot find one reason to keep these assets if the results don't change. I'm sorry Pim, the time is now in my opinion.
  10. Nice effort, improved from last game, just not enough. What are you waiting on Adams? The season is slipping away. Pull the trigger, more than once. Get them the pieces to get them over the hump.
  11. They were up 4 - 0 in the 2nd and blew it. 2 - 1 inspires nothing in me. Start putting more W's than L's up and I'll start to consider buying tickets, until then, not a penny more.
  12. Don't care what Adams has to say..... The fan base verbal team beatings will continue until the win / loss record improves....
  13. Thinking Dahlin maybe? His love for the game looked like it took a deep bruising shot after that 3rd Avalanche goal?
  14. I don't believe this anymore. I don't believe the Buffalo Sabres will move.
  15. Thats the game, Night all.
  16. It's worse 5han that GA, much worse. Puck possession is everything, Buffalo gives the puck away much to often. They back up in their own zone to deep, giving way to much ice to the opponent. But puck possession, ya, they suck at it every where on the ice. They still panic with the puck.
  17. They're going to blow this game.
  18. Missed the 1st, looks like the boys have it well in hand. Go Sabres!
  19. Lol, completely insane. This team is doing more than playing football, they're having fun.
  20. Put every penny you have access to and double down. Buffalo is winning tonight.
  21. Personally I'm not unhappy with the picks, merely pointing out that as of right now they aren't the type of players, position wise or system wise that can elevate this club. Some of that isn't by their doing I fully realize. For example, both would excel with select other clubs, even at their younger ages. My observation was to point out they need that in the forward ranks, or, God forbid I can't believe I'm going to say this, they need a Hasek if they are going to continue to play this way in this system. As for Eichel, Reinhardt, ya, we had a talent stacked team, with ROR, even Kane, and still could not get any traction. There's a rot in Buffalo for some reason, and I've identified 1 common denominator, they all played their early young NHL careers here. Having a true veteran supporting cast means something I'd surmise. Yes coaching, GM decisions have a significant impact, but the level of s uck here in Buffalo points to something much deeper, imho.
  22. Sorry, but Dahlin is not a franchise defenseman. He's good, but not franchise changing good. Power? Yikes, not him either.
  23. Expansion. Expansion actually has an opposite effect on the spread of high end talent for hockey. Players gravitate to markets with tax incentives, prestige and comfort of living. Buffalo along with many other teams have to luck in to their franchise players in most cases. Take a look at the contenders year after year. Parity doesn't exist.
