Exactly. I am excited they’ve won a few, but it’s a long season, just keep consistent competitive play boys, the wins will come.

I was TAD’d (temporarily assigned duty) at the air base often and had to report to the naval base each time for briefings as my helo squadron was assigned to ships there back in the early 90’s after the gulf war. I loved it then, loved it this trip. Although, it has sprawled out since my time there. We did Topgolf out by the airport, Pinky’s at Folly Beach and I took the fellas to the Yorktown, Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head.

I finished off a 5 day Siemens SITRAIN course in Charleston, SC. I wanted to go to last nights game, unfortunately air travel being as it is, a roughly 4 hour total, including connector flight in Philly turned in to a 10 hr nightmare where I didn’t walk in the house until 7:20pm. I was supposed to land in Buffalo at roughly 2pm. What a disaster AA was, both on the trip down and back, and none of it air traffic controller related. But I did manage to watch the game, what a pleasant surprise by the team. Today I will be fully invested in them, they’re drawing me back in and I like it. GO SABRES!!!

I meant by his ability to will the team to victories. Not verbally approached Beane. The question is more about Beane’s ability to recognize the talent in the moment.

This was obviously a tuck and roll year for the Bills. They need help at multiple positions on both sides of the ball. Given Allen’s able to keep them in late round draft pick area and Beane doesn’t trade off players for serious draft picks, what are the odds Allen is forcing Beanes hand this season to trade for talent to help them?

I could use that 5k, if he wants to shred a helmet with the #26 on it I’ll go out and buy 5, 10, 20, and toss 1 to him every game he’s in the penalty box at 5k a helmet. Bettman doesn’t need the cash, I do 🤪

Bout sums it up. hey all, my first game I’ve decided to watch. Liking what I’m seeing.

I want victories, I’m not interested in continuing the past 15 years.

We ke up to the win, what a pleasant surprise.

I stopped watching them as well. Stopped buying gear for myself, family/friends, holiday gifts. Yes, as much as I love that logo I can’t support an organization, an institution, an entertainment outlet that is this bad for this long. its heartbreaking what has happened to the Sabres, just heartbreaking.

And water is wet…..who knew, eh? of course they are the worst team. They’ve literally changed nothing in years, just shuffled deck chairs from different areas of the Titanic. Until real changes, both in mngt and the roster happen, this barrel will continue its trek over the falls.

We all knew this year was a coin toss. On defense we replaced both safeties with young subpar performers, our LB’s are smaller weight wise but outside of Milano who’s injured often, we don’t have a consistent pass rush and our run stopping is probably bottom 5 in the league. We have no star impact players on D, no one to lead by example on a regular basis. Offensively we need impact receivers with speed. And for god sakes get a fullback with size to help in multiple facets of the O game, not the least of which would be blocking schemes.

I got it! I’ve figured out Adams plan, he’s getting the 17 game losing streak out of the way early this season, so the players can focus on winning. Reverse psychology. 😉

That will change in 2 weeks. The front 4 had to survive through the 2 players 6 game suspensions. The problem I see is the secondary, very weak and not just in personnel, but in play calling.

One of the responses on that post was hilarious, “philosophize winning” signed by a dead horse 😂 you can’t make this ***** up, it’s beyond comical at this point.

I had to look at the schedule again. There is a very real possibility the Sabres go 3 wins 24 loses for the first 3rd of the season. I see no reason to have any faith they can do better than 3 wins.
