  1. Expected result. Nothing surprising here. I didn't even watch the last 2 games, 5he writing has been on the wall for a good long while now. We all know Adams and Granato will be back next season. And while I realize that doesn't sit well with many fans I am very curious as to what Adams thoughts are with regards to this team's expectations going forward. I'll be around all spring and summer occasionally chiming in with some smart-assary. Try and have a good off season ya'll. Enjoy the summer Temps, do some out door recreation. It's another long off season.
  2. The Bills will be in the playoffs again next season, they will be SB contenders. I was wrong about Allen, and I happily eat that crow from my mid season opinion that he doesn't have what it takes. He does, and he showed it from that week 12 record on to the kc playoff game. Guys a straight out warrior. Like I said, more than happy to be wrong on that. As for Diggs, spoke my piece up thread. Addressing the purge of cap this off season? We all knew it was coming. They maintained a stable of high value players for 4 seasons to try and push through and get it done. They fell just short, time to revamp, reload, restructure to youth and make another go at it. I have no fears of this team falling or dipping in performance. Beane has proven he can put a contending product on the field. Go Bills!!!
  3. There is no wondering. He stood out in the field alone after that first kc elimination, he then dropped a sure fire 2 score go ahead late in the 4th this last kc elimination game. Diggs wasn't it, it is what it is
  4. You just know Beane, McD and Josh sat down and talked. The results of the past 4 seasons speak for themselves, good, but not good enough. Need fresh horses for Josh, while his prime is still going. Eat the season if necessary, remain high end competitive in the process. I see the playoffs next season, you can bet as long as Josh is in these prime years, they do to.
  5. Agree. That dropped pass in the 4th Qtr in the KC playoff game this year was it for me. He may explode in a fresh young system, i could care less, because he wasn't exploding here. Eat the dead cap, move on to improve.
  6. Some players have definitely taken a step back. Those players are expected to be impact players. This roster, as constructed now, will continue to struggle unless they find consistency in their play. That is on top of this threads alleged intention, skill vs grit? I'm guessing. Case in point, Dylan Cozens. He wasn't signed to that 7 mil long term contract to be a 3rd line player. Yet, on almost any playoff contention team, his play would warrant such a title/roster position. And not to single Cozens out, another lack luster season inconsistent player is our supposed sniper, Mr. 1000'th game himself, Jeff Skinner. 9 mil a season and his disappearing act throughout the season is on display. Yes there's more to this rosters woes than just scoring, but the stats tell the story for sure. No 30 goal scorers, only 4 over 20. You won't get far with that production.
  7. Depends on which team he goes to once he catches the "lost his love of the game" disease. As of now, its the norm that he'll be a key cup run contributor once he moves on. This isn't sarcasm, smart-assery or critical toward the Sabres organization, sadly, it's the reality.
  8. Are we surprised by this? Because we shouldn't be. 1st time GM and Coach after first time GM and Coach, the names change, but the results don't. What's that "definition of insanity" adage again? "Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results" Yada, Yada, Yada. At this point, 13 seasons of total suck in, you really have to stand in awe at the complete incompetence the Sabres organization is. I mean, really, it is absolute at this point.
  9. I really don't care whether it's Sabres fans or opponents fans in the seats. All I care about is the win/loss record. As for Mathews 60th, great player, he was going to score it somewhere, at home, here, it doesn't matter, he's a great consistent scoring machine of a player. Something the Sabres lack, and it shows.
  10. He's had a straight out horrendous season. Tage may have been injured, what was Cozens excuse? Same with Skinner. The youth excuse is over, the team isn't built to be a playoff contention team.
  11. It'd be hilarious if the Leaf players did it 🤣 You'd expect a beyond anger response to that, but not these players, not this organization. You have to actually have grown a ***** for that.
  12. Looking for a plumber to properly reseal my drop in tub. Anyone have a recommendation?
  13. Tough game, 2nd of a back to back, at home where it's a no show for the Sabres more often than not, last night being one of the exceptions, not the rule. Whether or not the playoffs are realistic I do not believe sways this group of players at this point as past performance inconsistencies have shown. That said, it's always nice to stick a fork in the Leafs for a game, so here's to hoping. Go Sabres!
  14. Don't care, why? Because most other teams players don't care. I want our team to be hard nosed, hard to play against. Run your mouth, taste the ice.
  15. Love it!!!! "Your used to owning the ice between the dots against the Sabres.....THAT ENDS TODAY!!!" Want more of these players on the team.
  16. Granato will see the end of the season. Next season is an interesting off season conversation as we all hope the coming new season will return our Sabres to the post season, which of course would entitle Granato, if he is still the coach, a weekend at the Four Seasons.
  17. Craig calling it as it is. Always interesting to hear players and former players of the leagues view of the situation.
