  1. I'm tellin' ya, I'm gravitating heavily towards Okposo bringing a Haitian Witch Doctor Curse from the Islanders with him.
  2. Not sure what to think to be honest. Removed Okposo, E. Johnson and Mitts? Out of all moved I would think Okposo was here the longest out of those moved. Did he do something back in NYC to a Haitian Witch Doctor and got a chicken bone curse put on him?
  3. Good game so far. Need to finish that 2 on 1 Bensie. Other wise doing good.
  4. 03-14-24, Day 2 Metropolitan's Divison attempts to cross the center ice field as the Islander's 23 tries to turn the flank at the right face off dot. As they advance up ice Dahlin's 26 brigade prepares to hold the dot while the cannons are brought forward to pepper the Islanders. The fight is on to hold the high score on the ice tonight at Sabresburg.
  5. 03-12-24, mid-day, day 1 Byram's gamble to hold Keybank Ridge has paid off. Thompson's brigades have struck heavy casualties on Larkins Division. They hold Keybank Ridge, as Cozens Division begins to arrive!
  6. I did 3 months at the War College studying this battle. When I was in the service they divided the classes up by groups of 30, 20 officers 10 NCO's, I was one of the nco's. Then they gave each group a battle to digest/pick apart that culminated in to a mass conflag, in other words, make your own decisions. So that was 30 for the union, 30 for the confederates, and there were 10 classes, 300 of us in all. We got Gettysburg, or I should say, I was assigned to the union Gettysburg group. After completing the 3 months, we got to meet in a weekend event, all 300 of us, the Antietam group sounded like the most engrossing as they had much more derailed decisions to make tactically. And the civil war wasn't the only class subject matter, some got other historical engagements. The underlying themes back then were "first time doctrine absorbing or first time doctrine initiating" battles. After the 3 months, we then did a follow up 1 month of service branch specific doctrines. I ended up in the central Solomons 43/44 for that one. Very underwhelming after the Gettysburg group.
  7. 03-12-24, Day 1 Byram's cavalry defense brigades arrive on Keybank Ridge, just as Larkins Division is cresting Skyway Ridge. Byram's brigades need to hold on until Thompson's 1st Corps arrives. Gather Up your troops Capt. Zemgus, tonight you ride in to the fight of your seasons life! The Battle of Sabresburgh is on..... MUST WIN!!!!
  8. You will accept this.... Because you have only 1 other xhoice..... Leave the team....... Are you prepared to take that step in to the darkness? 😉
  9. I was thinking 8 x 1.31, but I can see you drive a hard bargain, 1.5 it is, but no NTC/NMC 😜
  10. Zemgus. Sign him for 8 years, put the C on his jersey and let's roll!!
  11. There is no disagreement in that Adams didn't address roster deficiencies. And we can only speculate as to why. Did he not attempt to bring in help? I don't know, I'm not privy to the convo's he has or has not had across the season. I do know foundational pieces of cup winners were in fact drafted, hence my comment that it is a plan.
  12. Time frames are a fine thing to institute. It keeps the goals of a plan to the forefront. But they are subjective. As with all plans, There is no cookie cutter for that. "No plan survives contact with the enemy". This is truth, but what are we really discussing? That Pegula and the management/coaching staff are the enemy? I see the players on the ice improving in the areas played out by Granato before the seasons start, I also see Adams failure in moving to address roster deficiencies noticeable early season, but like yourself, it's not enough for me to throw the baby out with the bath water.
  13. Sure it is. It's just not a plan many like. The truth is, many FA's, both high end top 6 and bottom 6 players will not commit to coming to an organization that is not firmly established as an annual playoff contender. Trades may, and can address some roster deficiencies if there is no NTC/NMC involved, but teams that have been prolonged basement dwellers looking to climb out of said basement can and have established drafting and developing as the plan. Detroit in the late 80's/early 90's, Pittsburgh in the early 2000's, the Oilers most recently. So to say it's not a plan is disingenuous. Just sayin PA, it's been played out in the past.
  14. I get it, I am as equally disappointed and frustrated at the results as the rest of the fan base is. But in Adams and Granato's case, after having 3 full seasons of watching what they are attempting to do, listening to what they are saying at the podiums, and starting to see some net results based on those, I am honestly more confident now than I have been in a long time that Pegula has found the right people for the job. Ya, it sucks it took this long, and sometimes I irrationally respond emotionally to the time it's taking, but I won't deny the organization is on the right path, because in my opinion at least, they are. Meh, hope is not for everyone, but I choose hope over misery....so go firth Pegula, Adams, Granato, build us a winner, because in my eyes, things are looking up. That's really all I got.
