Don't drink the water from the ancient bathing houses. I saw acts of pure sexual aggression there when I visited in 92, it was akin to a backyard hot tube in Tennessee at a post mudd bogging binge drinking event. Otherwise, enjoy.

Offense is a high price, higher than an inconsistent 2 way. 200 foot game. The price will be high in stocked up young roster talent currently as well as potential in the pipe line. Think Cozens, Peterka, Quinn type roster talent then add 1 of the big 3 in the pipe line, Kulich, Oster/Rosen or a mix of Wahlburg and another. Will that be definitive? No, but the Ducks will want a lot given their decision to go complete rebuild. So the question is correct. What is the price?

Sabres sign RFA Beck Malenstyn to a 2 year 1.35 AAV Deal

I have a confession to make. I am responsible for Skinners departure, now here me out...... Being fully aware of the new upgrades at the arena, as well as the inflationary rise in annual yatch buffing costs, when combined with my plea to Terry for a snow cone making machine to be deployed to Deadhorse, Alaska, to help eliviate the suffering of the townsfolk there where climate alteration has spiked an upward temperature trend from 10F to 14F over the past 15 years, causing parched throats to become a serious concern. While my heart was in the right place to try and help Terry feel some stress reduction in his consciousness, an asset had to be sacrificed. I remember Terry saying he felt better about the yatchs appearance, but it was the snowcone maker that pushed the cost to Skinners contract. There, I don't know about ya'll, but I feel better getting this burden off Terry's mind. Hope everyone is having a great summer, and remember, if Deadhorse Alaska is on your list of places to visit this summer, be sure and stop by the Snowcone Maker Machine, I hear Coconut flavor is in abundance but don't ask for the Franks Hot Sauce flavor, the locals are rumored to be hoarding it. And......I like this contract for Jeff's replacement, 2 yrs @ 1.4 mil allows the yatch buffing to continue. -
I'm on course to clear 130k gross this year, but ya, I sacrifice the time to do so.

I work for a Canadian Corp. Here in Niagara Falls, NY. As a matter of fact, I'm pulling 76 hrs this week, 84 next week, 68 the following week. It's the way the corporate world works in today's era I'm afraid, "Lean Manufacturing".

Note I didn't say he hired him develop talent, I said he used him to develop talent. Granato was known as a very respected development coach, are we denying this now? Given the age of the roster, yes, it is my opinion it was a wise move. -

I respectfully disagree. The first 2 seasons with Adams had him reshaping the roster, primarily with very young talent. The next 2 seasons, he used Granato to develop the talent. Wise move given Granato's acumen for such. Now, the young talent is coming of prime age or just under. Adams isn't acting out of desperation, he's acting out of need, primarily the need of the roster to get the kids to the next lvl, the playoffs. These kids aren't playing season after season in a vacuum, they're progressing, with experience, with age, so is the roster. IMHO. -
Wasn't it reported that we did inquire but he refused to sign an extension? Or was that just fans thinking that's what happened? @Brawndo, @Thorny.

Well it was one hell of a show. There were some changes. The wind prevented my plans to recreate the assembly room, but as with every day on the pond, it died down around 8pm as the earth cooled a little in our neck of the colonies. I did dawn my George Washington costume and got 1 party attendee to be my boat rowing continental soldier. We set off across the lake and proceeded to hand supplies of patron to the parties on the opposite bank. We had tons of people out watching, laughing, smiling and of course, videoing the entire episode. The Ole costume doesn't fit quite the way it used to, but we made do. And it was fun for all, that's what it's all about, having the balls to put yourself out there and give others something to rally around, just like those in July of 1776 did 👍 And the mortar barrage was.......simply put, a vast success. I do love this country so much. Not because I'm a veteran, not because of a few drinks on a day in July, but because I am fully aware of the trials, tribulations and sacrifices of generations past, both the good, and not so good, to get us to join together. So thank you Adams, Franklin, Jefferson, Hancock, Sherman, Dickinson and the rest........we are them that stand on your shoulders. E Plurabus Unum Happy Independence Day!

Savoie could be great, he could be good, he could be meh. McLeod could be good, he could be meh. We get it, overpay. I guess we'll have to assume Kevyn and Lindy have a plan of attack. I'll tell you this much, I feel much better with an NHL proven, experienced coach working with Adams as opposed to the last bunch.

Gearing up for Saturday, today may be the day, but work Friday for many had me push my annual Up Yours King George Day Celebration to Saturday. Every year is an enlarged theme for the event. This year, I am making the Assembly Room, Independence Hall. 13 tables, situated historically as the room was on July 2nd, 1776. 13 Emerald green table cloths, 13 1776 dual quill inkwells (the ones currently in Assembly Room are the French ones for the Constitution), 13 candle holders and sticks, 13 regulation size copies of the Declaration of Independence. Later in the day, I will dress in my George Washington costume, 2 of my party attendees will dress as continental soldiers, I will be holding the Bettsy Ross flag as we row across the lake delivering much needed Patron and Bourbon Supplies to are brethren neighbors guarding the other bank of the lake. Then, as dusk settles, I will bring out the speakers, as the entire lake residents grow hush as they are now accustomed to my routine, and I play Max McLean's reading of the Declaration of Independence. Immediately at the end of his reading, a will fire a volley of eight 6" mortars and will continue the bombardment for near 2 hours!!!!
