Thanks pasta, I have had little time to catch any game or news thereof as I’m in my full on 70 hr a week work mode.

Meh, boo don’t boo, I’m n it for the hockey. Any information and/or play analysis on any Sabres assets that are in the tournament is greatly appreciated.

I love hockey, I love my, our Sabres. That being said, I feel I’ve licked a poopy flavored lollipop these past 14 years or so.

Meh, but it’s not like it’s a secret.

Unfortunately his current development projections based on his first full 3 seasons do not bode well for his next 3 seasons as bad defensive habits continue to plague the former 1st overall pick. Could he become something along the lines of an 8 mil a season d man? Maybe, but without seeing defensive game development forward progress, young or not, does not bode well for the expectation.

Byram is definitely the choice.

This team isn’t exactly a disaster, but man do we need a strong veteran presence in the line up.

He found his love for the game

The veterans on Nashville are very good passers and setup men. They also show the internal drive necessary to play a competitive game.

The trade deadline has historically been buyers using picks/maybe A prospects for a here & now NHL asset to bolster a run into the playoffs. I don’t see the Sabres as needing picks or more prospects, they need high end/upper mid end NHL veteran talent with some type of controlling term. Therefore, I see the Sabres doing very little to nothing outside of the UFA’s unless a surprise partner is willing to deal the above mentioned.

Those that want him gone may be correct, but we must remember, it’s not only the play on the field that matters, it’s also the personnel decisions in the front office that does, specifically the money game. Beane signed deals to shoot for a run the 3 years prior to this season, we’re paying for some of that this season. Money, it’s precisely what is going to matter going forward. We don’t need to sell top end players to come here, they all see it, money is needed to properly fill in the holes.

Many are heartbroken, I get it. Another loss to the Chiefs in the playoffs. It stings, it always will, it was the 4 bowl losses in my early 20’s. But if we’re being honest about this season, the team dumped some talent, for various reasons. I won’t say they over achieved, but they just didn’t have enough to cover to the SB. We'll see what Beane does to address that, Allen’s years are beginning to be consumed by falling just short. Something certainly needs to be done ASAP, the clock is ticking.

Well, this isn’t a it. We all wondered what a game winning drive careful n Allen’s hands would look like, can he do it? We are about to find out…….. LFG!!!!!!!!
