Beasley was Allen’s reliable 20 yard check down. We lost because the guy was playing with a broken leg. You don’t cut him.

We’re getting Power Need forwards on Eichel/Reinhart returns

I don’t understand how any Buffalo fan doesn’t understand that hot goaltending 100% dictates playoff performance. Every year.
-
Jack was also awful under Krueger. Coaching can destroy any player
-
Y’all talk about analytics like people are going to start color coding arbitrary models and using colored bar charts to assemble their teams without regard for anything else
-
He’s a future hall of famer. Has all the tools, is growing into his still very young body, and has an abysmal team around him being fixed
-
What do you want them to do? They went and signed a league MVP and went backwards then fired all involved. Now they’re going to trade away the entire core. Let them do it

This is what happens when you cater to every fee fee. It’s a slippery slope into this nonsense

They were impossible to watch until Granato took over

Bylsma was inexperienced? Nolan was inexperienced? Guess Jack Adam’s awards go to everybody Murray was inexperienced? Botterill was inexperienced? Terry meddled with Murray’s trades draft picks and coaching changes? Only time that happened was with the pink slip because Murray wouldn’t fire Bylsma This narrative about the Pegulas is exhausting

It’s fans thinking they know better than the owner. Don’t pretend people think adding layers and layers of management solves anything. Just like anything, everyone is wasting space until the right person comes along and we should be happy we aren’t running every guy out though the end of their contracts despite proving to be failures for money reasons. These reactionary fans weren’t alive for the Rigas and Golisano eras where we knew every season was our magical last chance because we all knew we couldn’t afford the pay raises anyone who shows competence in Buffalo deserves

Reinhart Non Committal To His Future in Buffalo
triumph_communes replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Bye felicia Dude shot a completely unsustainable 20%. Don’t touch his extension with a ten foot pole, Skinner 2.0 -
Jack believes his kook of a doctor just like Brady believes his kook of a trainer. It’s a rich Boston suburb thing. Wouldn’t look much further than this.
-
And Fox is on a non playoff team
-
Ghost bear was top 5 d in the league and a couple years later passed waivers
-
Eichel was always half the problem. Hell of a player, but had too much ego that no coach or veteran in Buffalo could touch with a ten foot pole. This outcome was inevitable if he didn’t find his way on his own, and injury problems found him first. I hope we get young players and not first round picks.

The good humor is entirely centered around Moira -
It’s because of Buffalo tanking for Reinhart it exists

Lest we forget Reinharts heroic end of season awakening he has done every freaking year of his career. Stats junkies won’t plot production vs games played year after year and see how he is invisible until any hope of playoffs is over and then he starts padding stats. There’s no doubt he has the talent. The gripe is that he chooses not to use it properly. At least he’s playing center now, but he’s still the guy not tying up a stick in front of the net as he doesn’t play physical at all, allowing critical goals when the other team is actually pushing hard.
-
Because we all saw what Mahomes did to him and ‘just another year’ isn’t the hope needed to not have him undressed like that next time. Half a new d line is a start, but let’s see Not hearing the trade calls on him. Just that he isn’t worth banking on. which goes back to a strategy McBeane have been using for the drafts- they go for physical traits over skill and trust in their coaching. That’s a very boom or bust type of strategy. I’m not saying it’s wrong, but it also means they’ve got to smarten up and call their handpicked spades a spade when push comes to shove. and Edmunds is trying to bank in after we take his 5th year option. It matters soon Beane had no problems purging all the guys he didn’t bring to the team. Can he purge his own? I think yes, but he’s not immune to the criticism until he does it to guys he’s drafted. He’s only done it to UFA pickups.

Reinhart does this every season. When things matter he is invisible. When the season is over he turns it up. It is so nauesesting. What a loser with talent

He’s getting the ROR treatment

Evolving Wild Contract Projections for the 2021 Offseason

Reinhart yeesh that’s too much Dahlin discount. Sign him for 8 years -
Edmund a has low football IQ in a position that favors having the instincts over the muscles. Good QBs target edmunds and that’s all the tell you need. They knew he was raw, tried to teach him the instincts, and it’s never sunk in. I believe you can teach technique but not instincts. Was a bad pick. Same goes for Risto. He has all the muscles and tools but he is prone to stupid stupid plays whenever he gets excited. Doesn’t help he’s run down like a mule.
