Why does Irwin not get replaced? Are they sheltering them still for some reason? -

Jack Eichel: Trade rumors and speculation
triumph_communes replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
We didn’t see an ounce of good Jack this year which makes trading him a possible thought. He’s still a beast of a player and I wonder what he’d do under Granato Definitely not a leader though But definitely Damaged goods now which hurts any return. mid want a blue chip or two plus firsts. Not just one or the other. -
Coaching is everything cant wait for fancy stats to have a coaching factor

Eichel McCabe Borgen Girgensons (Montour with me coach) helps many of those numbers defensively Our PP was Eichel and that changes with his return Goalie problems can’t be understated This team isn’t that far off. Injury return, a goalie not injured, and a new coach and we’re easily playoffs

Nobody was open. Better than Hall just giving the puck away -

Boston has no defense. They have one good line and play dirty up and down the line up. Hall is just going to suck useful minutes away from them. They’re going nowhere. but we don’t have enough juice right now to stand up to the physicality. Too many injuries and such. -

This is the ***** I’m talking about. Should be 20 penalties to none but refs gotta ref and make penalties even -

Boston doing the ‘make so many dirty plays the refs won’t call half of them because they feel bad calling so much’ approach. Disgusting team. Deserves to have their players ran. -

Boston is so ***** dirty -
Bjork had his career sidelined by shoulder surgeries. Then he came in and was playing doghouse with a short leash in the pro league where he showed many of the same ‘overthinking’ problems we’ve seen with Tage and Mitts the last season or two. He’s a skill winger thrusted into a shutdown 3LW/RW role and doing what he’s told. The guy can skate and his feet are faster than his hands. he’s primed for the same kind of outbreak that Tage/Mitts are under Granato, and also has a history with Granato to boot. Worst case he replaces Lazar. But he has upside. Don’t get his association with Hall tied up with the guy

https://hfboards.mandatory.com/threads/anders-bjork-iii.2798440/page-12 Go read what Boston fans think of Bjork over the years. He blew his shoulder out which slowed down the start of his career. The rest reads just like any report on players like Thompson or Mittelstadt over the last two years: has all the tools there but isn’t putting it together playing grinding minutes for the coach. I agree losing Lazar hurts, but he’s a 4th liner we saved from being out of the league entirely a year ago. We still have Girgensons. Caggiula is an equivalent to Lazar. Boston is right to target Lazar but in the grand scheme of things he’s easily replaced.

Bjork has three years at 1.6 then RFA. He’s another Thompson, but fast instead of tall. It seems the over reaction babies have taken over and logic and reason is getting sucked out of the vacuum now. Turning a freaking 1ywar rental into long term assets is somehow bad asset management? A late first round pick is lucky to turn into Bjork six years from now.

Ick. Folingo is the type of player to put Toronto over the top
