Goalie problem

Our position is to trade third round picks for cap dumps that aren’t bad players around the league. Not many guys are going to just sign here, but I do believe giving Tuch the C will make some heads sway. Honestly all this lineup needs after goalies is some over paid role players. The talent is there, just all young. Need the 4th line full of bruisers. Those are usually the first cap casualties from other teams anyway.

I guess with Eichel and Reinhart gone people need a whipping post. Dahlin ain’t your guy though. Normally it’d be Skinner, but Tuch and his leadership has fixed that sore spot. Thompson has turned out great. Mittelstadt has been injured a lot, but hasn’t played poorly when he has. Maybe you can ding Mittelstadt for a career of injuries? Sucks not being able to blame character or lack of leadership of players anymore. Maybe you’ll take that line of thinking and actually compliment Kevyn for getting us to this spot. nah, Dahlin a sissy boy!

Oloffson is entirely replaceable. If he wants more than his QO for two years, go elsewhere. He doesn’t have intangibles to make one hold on to him any longer. He was good while he lasted and now his course has run.

Adam’s is doing the right thing by not overpaying to get a passable goalie on the short term after multiple injuries compromised his stop gap. He has multiple good options for long time and people just need patience. Teams who splurge on a goalie coming from nothing always regret it and don’t win cups.

Coaching is to blame for the close games. Half of them wouldn’t have been close if the playcalling all game wasn’t stupid. The other half was dumb decisions after another down the stretch. Players mostly executed above average all season barring the o line and edmunds trying to stop a pass. Only winning when we were too far ahead for coaching to matter? That’s telling on the coaches. The roster was more than enough.

We lost every 1 score game this season including this one and it wasn’t from players choking. It was entirely playcalling. I hope both Frazier and Daboll find new homes. Our team is successful despite them. Im so glad Allen didn’t get torn up for that dumb throw to Singletary which would have given him reason to doubt himself. Allen is our team. Offense was too conservative mid game with multiple 3 and outs. I don’t care about the setup when a team loses their star safety early in the game you gun it. Instead they tried running it to no avail for three straight wasted drives. Cost us the game. Defense couldn’t make a stop once it counted. They preyed on bad QBs all season and only looked good against KC and Pats this season because of turnovers. Mahomes forced nothing and didn’t have the turnovers and rocked them. 13 seconds I’ll blame the coaching. Inexcusable. Defense bailed out the offense all season until they finally go in the groove in the Bucs game. But they fell apart once it mattered because of overly conservative coaches asking to lose. Silly. Enjoyable ride. Refs pissed me off mightily 1st quarter there were a dozen holds on Oliver and they gifted KC that one TD,but they kept their whistles away rest of the game thank god. Next decade is looking bright for Buffalo and just like last season the biggest mistake they can make is keeping with their coordinators. Our talent is winning despite them.
