The Boston game made it really clear how we missed Tuchs forecheck. If he can hold a candle to that on a lower line it should help this team. Asplund and Peterka have been nothing special, you only get the minutes to grow if you have growth potential and they both don’t seem to have it. Still massive gaping hole on defense though.

Need to keep him out of the box. This teams PK is atrocious even still

It looked like two of our best players on a team thin on talent was out Also Anderson looked bad. He has good and bad games now, no inbetween. Wish we could have pulled him sooner and salvage the game. Ottawa and Pittsburgh is goin to take wild cards.

What confuses me more is how we couldn’t beat a 3rd for Ghostbear

Maybe Leslie figured out he’s never going to get a HC job when his defense failing miraculously in a playoff game is fresh on the mind of GMs looking to hire. Thank you for turning things around, but I’m glad we can move on. Something needed to change.

Gotta give Kevyn some benefit of the doubt, Jost was a great get who turned it around in a different system here. And can’t do worse than Bryson. Bloom will never play a NHL game. but it reeks of nepotism so I’ll not get too optimistic.

Bloom will never play in the NHL anyway I guess. He’s been trending bust. If it puts Bryson down.. we’ll at least it’s a fresh face to try.

Chychrun would warrant power play time. Power was looking great out there on the PP. Feels like there’d be no room for Oloffson if that was the case.

Stay out if these prices stay high. Arizona really put themselves in a pickle scratching Chych if nobody is biting on their astronomical ask. Puts more pressure on them to deal him on the deadline. If he goes it feels like it’ll be a last minute deal. I hope we have a reasonable offer for Chych and a backup defenseman deal lined up for the final hour if Arizona doesn’t budge.
