Wingers definitely seemed a step closer to their assignments. Islanders aren’t exactly offensive gurus, but that was defense. Fourth line still looked awful. Okposo gets the goal, but man that line was a liability all night. Comrie gets a deserved shutout.

Nah they aren’t. Every shift we’re getting hemmed in our own zone is this line versus the other teams 4th line. It’s embarrassing. They can’t play defense and they wait until one of our weaker defenseman makes a mistake. Turnover kings. With Larsson they would forecheck and eat up minutes against top lines. With Krebs they don’t get out of the zone against bottom lines.

Their line has been a tire fire. Sure would be a way to push accountability by benching them instead of gifting them more minutes.

They looked bad in NJ and only won cause the devils played a backup goalie and refused to adjust their play style to stifle the Sabres like everyone else has

Hard part in situations like this sometimes the owners do the right thing but choose the wrong person and get burned, then the next guy they hire they make pay for the sins of their forebears instead of trying the same strategy with a new face. Tim Murray was setup for success and his approach wasn’t necessarily a bad approach, he was just a terrible asset manager and terrible talent evaluator. Until KA we were paying for Murray’s sins. People can blame KA all day, but if his actual plan always was Levi once he got him, then he never made a mistake. Nobody ever got in the way of Levi starting at first chance.

Levi is a sad song. Team needed to be sad to get some Levi.

It’s been apparent all season for those paying attention. These last ten games are an absolute embarrassment.
