  1. Murdoch Mysteries. One episode had an epic fail by the editors. Show was set in early 20th century Toronto, but a minivan could be seen driving way off in the background. MacGyver (reboot) DCI Banks (one of the most emotional endings I’ve ever seen in a series - especially the stone cairn in the very last scene). Homestead Rescue The Red Green Show. (I think Amy Sedaris tried to do a show with a similar concept, but it fell flat on its face. Red Green is like the Far Side comic strip: don’t even try to copy their style.)
  2. Moving the Sabres would be one thing. Not many people would notice. Moving the Bills would be an entirely different issue, given the worldwide fan base - especially in places like 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, 🇷🇺 , and 🇰🇿.
  3. ICYMI, there does not appear to be that many PGH/PSU people at OBD in Orchard Park. More like Charlotte, if you ask me.
  4. A couple of things my dad would say: Make like the wind and blow. (even if it’s not in your “job” description). Make like a tree and leave.
  5. It’s called “deconstructing”, which seems to work well sometimes on Chopped.
  6. O U C H . . . If I’m not mistaken, Rick DiPietro proves your point.
  7. Not all metal. Some of it shows brilliant musicianship and artistry, and some of it shows that some people have zero talent. (Even William Hung could do better than some of them.) Having said that, I look at bands like Origin and marvel at the speed and precision of their music. As an aside, I’d love to be able to share videos from the YouTube channel The Little Death, but I know that the lyrics are NSFW (and I don’t think the bosses here would appreciate that). She does R&B renditions of death metal songs, which just absolutely make me howl with laughter. I actually commented on one of her videos a while back on how she can keep a straight face while doing this. She said she can’t. It takes her several tries until she gets it right to her satisfaction.
  8. It was definitely a cutting edge song for its time. Now, with all of the bravo sierra I’ve dealt with lately with hardly anyone living in reality, this tune sums up some of my frustrations:
  9. Who’s playing this online game? Are you having fun with it?
  10. It has been a very hard and rough week where I live. I’m so choked up, it hurts. https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2022/02/02/bridgewater-officers-jefferson-painter/
  11. Talk about having our number! 😳
  12. Best news I’ve read all day.
  13. Let’s not forget he won a National Championship with LSU. This is going to be an interesting 10-15 years coming up with the caliber of QBs getting drafted.
  14. Just like Hell’s Angels: When we do right, no one remembers. When we do wrong, no one forgets.
  15. The funny thing is that he’s moving to another state to take the job.
  16. Or even catching the latest news along the 38th parallel.
  17. You know, with all of the griping and whining that some people are doing about coaching and play calling and who needs to get sacked, I’m left wondering if some of you guys are getting your résumés ready to take their places should any or all of them be let go. Did it hurt to lose the game? Absolutely! Should any of them get sacked? Absolutely not! There is no way I could ever do their job, and I don’t think any of us could do it either. Having said that, given how people have said that this was one of the greatest football games ever, I’m left with the impression that this is comparable to Bobby Fischer vs. Boris Spassky in 1972. So, dammit, they’re still my team, and I could not be more than proud of them!
  18. If anything, the season opener was a fluke. It was thankfully not a portend of things to come. But that loss to Jacksonville was one where I wish I was wrong when I called it. It’s just that when I read how dinged up the OL was that week, I had a feeling that we would be in trouble and I was proven right (unfortunately).
  19. The Chiefs are still in the playoffs.
  20. FIFM = Fix It For Me 110% agree with you on Belichick.
  21. And how old is this caller? I admit that I would have said something this foolish in my younger days. In fact, I’ve done so on here in the past. Numerous times. Nonetheless, I think it’s safe to say that most of us are much happier with the current FO in place - including ownership. (Yes, I did say that. FIFM if you disagree.)
  22. With the prison vibe and being out of the playoffs 10 years and counting, I feel like I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow.
  23. So who do we want to coach the Bills next? Ralph Krueger?
