  1. Same here. Really felt as if I was watching a game on NHL Center Ice w/ Direct TV. Picture looked great and never had a hiccup in the feed. Very smooth. Gotta admit I'm impressed right now.
  2. At Walmart it's 80. GameStop overcharges w/ it being 100. You get what you pay. Great investment.
  3. Not sure if any of you play games w/ a headset, but I recently picked up a Sony PS4 Gold Headset. This is my first legit headset experience. Never really thought there'd be a huge difference. But all I can simply say is WOW! Played Black Ops 3 a good bit last night w/ the headset and it blew me away. A buddy of mine talked me into it....glad I took his advice. The experience so different. Honestly don't see myself playing a game w/out the headset on ever again. I highly recommend the Sony PS4 Gold Headset.
  4. Got Call of Duty Black Ops 3 for the PS4 yesterday . Loving it! Haven't played a COD game since the first Black Ops. Friend of mine gave me a little tutorial, but it didn't help much. Got my butt kicked in multiplier. Have a lot of leveling up, map learning, etc... to do. Know exactly what I'm doing when I get home from work this evening.
  5. I appreciate you posting this. I haven't received an e-mail about it. Kind of weird.
  6. I agree w/ that. Kids need to be a part of something. I don't care what sport it is, but they need to be involved. Eventually they'll find one they like. What's unfortunate is more and more kids are not involved in any type of sport or physical activity. Being in a sport has many positives. Provides exercise, teaches sportsmanship, importance of a strong work ethic, improves social skills, etc.... This is very important for a child's development.
  7. Soccer is a sport the everyone can play. However, it can be far more expensive than you think. Average costs per year for one child is $671. And that's for a basic league. Quality of coaching/level of play isn't as high. For leagues w/ higher quality coaching, level of play, etc...., it can range from $1,500 to $5,000. That's excluding the time and commitment needed from the parents and kids. Many have to travel x amount hours for tournaments on their schedule. Counting traveling expenses increases the the costs. Again, all of this is for one child. All in all, soccer isn't as cheap as many may believe.
  8. 18 points in his last 20 games. Think he's beginning to figure it out.
  9. What a finish. Lehner played great tonight. And Eichel...well....glad he's a Sabre.
  10. Got that right. Chris Carter has said if things go well the X-Files series could continue. He and the crew have expressed their desire to do so. Have my fingers crossed. Chris Carter also spoke of making a third X-Files movie, but he stressed the budget would have to be high enough. Carter said the budget for the second movie was far too low and it held the movie back. More or less said Fox can make a third movie, but he'll only be involved if the movie is close to what the first X-Files movie had.
  11. Just got goose bumps seeing the opening of a brand new episode of X-Files.
  12. Great work! That is just awesome.
  13. Cam said he doesn't know who they're playing in the Super Bowl? Come on. News of the AFC Title Game had to be every where.
  14. Get back to Buffalo!
  15. Ha Was LaFontaine offsides at about the 1:36 mark? May have had a challenge in today's NHL.
  16. Right on. A few years ago NFL analysts were talking about what does it take for a QB to be considered as one of the greats. Most in that particular discussion agreed it depended on the number of Super Bowl wins. I wanted to puke when they spoke of Roethlisberger being better than a few hall of famers like Marino or Kelly. And it all came down to the 2 Super Bowls Roethlisberger won.
  17. If the Broncos do pull off a Super Bowl win, people will only look at 1 number. And that'd be Peyton having 2 Super Bowl Rings. His blah performance the past 2 seasons won't be talked about often. Manning needs to end his career regardless of what goes down. Chances of him making another Super Bowl are next to none.
  18. Was so pulling for pick six! Palmer :censored:
  19. Forgot the X-Files mini-series debut is tonight. Anyone else excited? I know I am. Was addicted to the show when I was a kid.
  20. Episode 8's release has been delayed. It will now debut on December 15th, 2017. It was originally scheduled to come out in May of 2017. Rumor is out the script had a few changes made due to breakout performances and returning heroes in Episode 7. Supposedly a few yet to be introduced characters will now have smaller roles. Gotta add I watched Episode 7 for the 3rd time today. Enjoyed it just as much as my 1st 2 viewings.
  21. Was hoping Lehner would be starting tonight. Didn't get to watch him play the other night. :( Oh well, go Sabres!
  22. Trust me, I wish things would've worked out. I'm still looking forward to ID4, but must admit I feel many who experienced Independence Day when it came out may have a sense of something is missing when watching ID4. Younger audiences won't have that. ID4 may be a type of reboot. Still looking forward to seeing it.
  23. Supposedly he wanted a great deal of money for ID4 and/or he was hesitant on doing another sci-fi flick after the bust After Earth. Emmerich at one point mentioned Smith is now too popular to be in ID4. When Independence Day was made, Smith hadn't quite made it to the big time yet. He was largely known as the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Not much to put on his resume'. Emmerich has spoke of this. Honestly could be an excuse though. Emmerich did have two scripts written. One including Smith and one w/out Smith. In my opinion the ball was practically in Smith's court. So yes, I believe he refused the part due to money, not a great amount of interests in sequels and wanting to stay out of sci-fi movies for a period of time. And yes, I know he's been in Men in Black 1, 2 and 3, but for some reason or another he felt they'd boost his popularity to the level it once was. If you take a close look at it, the Men in Black movies did just that.
  24. If you have kids and enjoy taking them to the movies, I advise you to pass on Norm of the North. One of the worst family films I've ever seen. Story did not flow well and there was practically no humor. Theatre was full of kids and the place was rather quiet. Usually doesn't take much for kids to laugh.
  25. Can't stand NFL rules for OT. :censored:
