  1. That's mainly what I do. Really the only games I play online are NHL and some shooter like Call of Duty. I prefer adventure games where I'm not dependent on others to have a good time.
  2. 7:20. Crowd boos the you know what out Bettman. Slows things down. ha ha 7:10 does sound about right.
  3. Long Way Down by the Goo Goo Dolls. My 5 year old son recently heard it while in the car and now he repeatedly ask to hear it when going somewhere. Pure awesomeness! Long Way Down is one of my favs by The Goo.... Like father like son!
  4. Labatts and Moulson cost more in the south, but that is hockey beer. May go w/ that for the fun of it.
  5. Ha Remember little about it, but Tampa had a lady in their system, believe she played a few NHL games, a number of years ago.
  6. Would be the major shocker of draft or post draft day. BU's coach has already said Eichel will be in the NHL for the entire season. Now, that's his opinion. Could just be a smoke screen. Who knows? Wait, Eichel does. But in all seriousness, many Sabres fans would be disappointed if he chose to play another year of college hockey. Yes, there are benefits to it, few I'm sure, but w/ the suffering we've all endured we need something to be beyond excited about in October.
  7. Wouldn't mind the Sabres going after Allen.
  8. Buffalo would be stupid to include it's 3rd "1st round" pick for Lehner. Not a GM, but as the mock drafts are blown out of the water w/ teams making surprise picks/trades, have hopes Murray is pushing to move up in the draft by x amount of spots for a right winger or defenseman many felt would've been taken in the top 10. It's draft day. Anything can happen. Couldn't agree more. Would prefer the Sabres to draft Blackwood or Samsonov if possible in the 2nd round, and then go after an available RFA or UFA .
  9. I'd actually feel bad for the Arizona fans if that went down. Read their message board quite bit down the stretch for McEichel. To go from a rush for McEichel to landing Dougie Hamilton in a one for one trade would be tough to swallow. If this is a potential trade, Boston to has to be including something else. Hanifin has a lot of potential. A blueliner I'd want the Sabres to take if they were at number 3.
  10. I share the same opinion. #51 is a fair trade. There is no reason to waste a "third" first round pick on Talbot. 57 games is not a lot to look at.
  11. I wouldn't be disappointed w/ a 51 going for Talbot. He'll provide quality goaltending, and he's young enough to grow w/ the team. When the Sabres begin to hit full stride in the next few years he'll only be 30 or 31. This also provides Murray time to find a potential goaltender. Buffalo has Ullmark and Johansson. Have hopes one of them pan out.
  12. If it's reasonable, I'd be satisfied w/ this trade. If it does costs two second round picks, hope it's one this year and one next year.
  13. If that's the case, the "right people" can argue their part of the country, no matter the region, is the friendliest.
  14. What always had me scratching my head was the south's claim to be the friendliest place in the country. Doesn't make sense.
  15. You just had to take all the fun out of it. ha ha I'm really curious to see how many sabrespace members that play video games prefer to download games instead of buying a hard copy at a store.
  16. That's a possibility, but don't most scouts have Strome/Hanifin going at #3? Arizona can do what they want. Scouts aren't always right. It'll be interesting to see what goes down. W/ the Coyotes missing out on Mcdavid there's strong chance they trade out of #3 for additional picks/prospects.
  17. That is understandable, but when a player has a historic season they need to be considered as a cover player. Price was the first goalie to lead the league in wins, goals against and save percentage since Ed Belfour in 1991. I respect your opinion, but at times other things need to be taken into consideration. And yes, being on the cover of a video game is something I'm sure most players don't have on their NHL bucket list.

That is something that needs to be taken into account. Very good point.
  19. Ha Whatever was in the fridge is what we went after. Some nights it was Natty. Other nights it could've been Milwaukee's Best, Miller High Life, PBR, Bucsh Lite, etc... Depended on who bought the brew that night. Busch Lite wasn't that bad actually.
  20. It was a cool idea, but man, as you and Thirtyeight pointed out, the cover ranges from okay to hideous. I'm not sure if there is an in between on that, but if there is that's what I think of it. Didn't really think about it last night, but I think it's a bad idea to use Chicago 3 times since the NHL 10 edition. 3 Cups is arguably a dynasty. However, would've been more understandable if this was their 4th Cup. Carey Price owned the awards ceremony last night. Brought home the Vezina, Hart and William Jennings trophies. He also won the Ted Linsey Award. He should've been on the cover.
  21. Ha In college it didn't matter what it was. Simply suck it up for the first two natty's and things were fine after that. But wow! Sam Adams as your college beer?! To pricey for my friends and I back then. Of course the philosophy was different. Quantity > quality. Today it's quality > quantity.
  22. More or less it did. It was all on the spot. Kane and Toews knew nothing of it until it all went down. EA was there. Pics were taken and a little editing was done. So yeah, it did actually happen. “(We found out) actually in the crazy (Cup) celebration on the ice. We had a bunch of people coming to us, the EA people, the NHL people, and Kane and I both work with the same agent, and they told us what was going on. We had to take the Cup and try to get a quick picture with it in the corner, and that’s when I realized that they were telling us we were (really) going to be on the cover of the video game. It was all too much to take in. It was pretty crazy, and that was just another thing you threw in the mix with how amazing that moment was.”
