  1. Adams is getting repositioned but I agree with you
  2. He literally said he wasn’t sure if he’d be GM
  3. The particular ineptness of it even for Adams made me feel STRONGLY within the first 30/40 seconds he was getting reassigned, fwiw How are you still watching lol
  4. The way he started the conference really was, “well? What do you all want?” vibes. he looks like he could be done. Can’t listen to any more of the awful speak tho so it’s off now, I’m sure the thread will have any talking points of note
  5. He looks like a man who knows he’s in trouble I think we get the reshuffling
  6. Addition by subtraction! They are actually going with that as the message, as the plan. i hope they are prepared for fan base crossover on that point - - - Today is a big day
  7. There are different reasons depending on the regime. Speaking of the one that’s contributed to the drought the most, the current: the faces may change but being the youngest team in the league every year has remained the same. It’s statistically proven that very young teams struggle to make the playoffs, AND teams that don’t spend to the cap don’t make it (that not the same as saying spending GUARANTEES it, either!), and we have not spend to cap under Adams it is hard to say we can’t identify the issues when two very demonstrable factors in not making the playoffs (youth and low spending) have both been consistent as variables under this regime
  8. This doesn’t seem to be the messaging they are going with
  9. Because then it can’t be used as an excuse at season’s end get out of here with your iron-clad logic
  10. It has gotten to that point. It’s a crossroads. The incompetence cannot be denied, but that’s been so for a long time. What cannot be denied, now, is that the organization’s goal is not to win A true crossroads as a fan. You either realize our anger has to be relatively worthy of their betrayal, increasing exponentially as their failures do, or you realize you have to stop caring because it’s hurting you, personally, too much, and you just can’t take it anymore i care too much for the crest. And for the fanbase, to lower myself to that. I will never follow this team apathetically, because I am too afraid to expect better. What a disastrous, disservice to the fine folks of the fandom that would be no, they’ll get my anger, and then they’ll get nothing
  11. Results don’t matter Trying their best matters
  12. Dude I’m honestly jealous. Like this is the management team you’ve been waiting for, in all seriousness - not snark. The offseason talking point is, indeed, “we assembled a fine team, they f*cked up coming in out of shape” Like, you actually got it: your management team is bulletproof to results mattering They used “the players came in overconfident” last season - so they are literally running back excuses now as far as I am concerned, fans looking to measure by the metrics the rest of the league does (ie standings) should be made aware they are welcome in the fan base, but a clear minority: they are welcome to root for wins, but that’s not what we are interested in doing here in buffalo
  13. I’m glad there are folks who sort of understand the value and importance of the big add, here At forward, too the “forwards are fine” tact is missing the mark on several levels I keep reiterating
  14. We’ll see what they say about Adams tomorrow
  15. Somehow not anti-social enough
  16. Cozens was a cornerstone, core, 70 point 2C we signed for a big long term deal a mere 2 years ago. Over the course of those 2 years, we converted that asset to a third paring depth defender you can grab on waivers for free a great trade if we professionally ignore context
  17. Imagine paying 4 million for mid 20s Tuch, and then 8 million for age 30s Tuch. good rebuilding strategy
  18. That one quote from Zucker is probably enough to gas the fanbase through another offseason Good cop bad cop don’t f*cking fall for it
