Vladdy has EIGHT home runs lmao
-
Gotta credit Yamamoto tonight, dominant

They seem to often be a little counter intuitive. They dial in against the “elite” starters and really work the count, they just DO NOT strike out which makes it incredibly difficult on said starters, who aren’t used to their relentless approach, 1 through 9. Against Seattle game 1 when they got the Mariners’ “5th” starter they struggled. Basically, they actually seem to up their game when facing the best pitching

There were, and they’ve gotten even better they led the league with a .265 average in the regular season. They have a .305 average this postseason. Next closest is Dodgers at .252 to get BETTER as you face elite competition is insane
-
Jays nearly tripled the Brewers output from the entire NLCS in the first 6 innings of today’s game Barger equaled it with one swing
-
They’ve been even better in the playoffs
-
lol not that I know of. Just funnin

What if we get to .500 so dudacek can post again?

16 points in 7 games for Eichel. He’s certainly lived up to the early billing They’ve just realized their seasons actually start in April. At the very least in McDavid’s case. I’d pay much more attention to his 33 points in 22 playoff games last year
-
Slow start last year too, no? Some of the slow starts we’ve seen probably balance with some of the heaters cooling off Edit: it was 2 years ago. 1 point first 6 games

Should be viewed as an utter non-entity until proven otherwise -
- - - oops I meant for some merging here. I guess you get 4 posts, one for each Blue Jays ALCS victory

If Doan maintains 75% of the level we’ve seen, the combo with Kesselring likely makes it a pretty darn good trade, unless Peterka explodes. It also wouldn’t belittle the issues that led to the trade. Hey hey you you get off of McCloud

I’ve gone on record saying I’ve realized I can’t root for the team anymore while Adams is GM. So, you don’t even need a “gotcha”. I won’t root against them again. So, im just not watching. i said, 5 years ago, my line was 5 years. They ran it back for year 6. For me that means distance It’s not something nefarious that can be called out. It’s just honesty, and a called shot and signaling of intention on my part. Been accused of a lot of things on this board, many of which is true. I can’t ever remember being referred to as inconsistent. So, there’s that at least

I guess my post isn’t winning any Oscars, eh. my jokes land less than Hancock did with the critics
-
I highly doubt Adams has the ability to pull off a trade like that. Whatever deal he does make will probably just be something he Slaps together last minute
-
He’s a playmaker for me An Eichel-like player if you will Yes, we need another playmaker lol

Ok Enough Terry - Fire Ruff Adams and the Assistants!

I’ve long felt we’ve needed an Alpha like a DeBoer to fix this. Somebody who doesn’t need the job, but wants the job, because they want the damn challenge. A little bit of ego here wouldn’t go amiss. “Alright, I’ll f*ckin do it.” Someone lacking the fear, who understands the further, substantial increase in status they’ll get by being “the guy to resurrect the Sabres.” I’ve always felt we needed that fellow at GM. A coach wouldn’t be a bad start -
Ya I mean I agree with you in theory. Any player not named McDavid should always be on the table for the right price
-
If they all had that haircut I’d have no choice but to rank them among the truly elite teams of my day
-
And it’s the trade you’ll get. Those are the types of players Adams traded for see: “Josh Norris” (whoever that is) his deals are just a microcosm of his overall strategy. “If eveything goes right…” ”Ya but what are the odds o…” ”BUT IF THINGS ALL GO RIGHT…” The player will have a noticeable possibly fatal flaw and we reap the benefit
-
If they trade him now, dollars to donuts it’s not for a top 6 C, but rather the dreaded “middle 6”’ C
