How did ERod miss the net

The good from last nights game Bailey-Baptiste-ERod line seemed like they played more than they did. Speed and forechecking, You'll have to ask a coach how good they played but they sure were entertaining. 2nd game back and Jack looked like Jack. It would be nice to get him a couple of linemates Nelson and especially Guhle like the puck on their stick. They better not lose Nelson to free agency. At one time Jack and Guhle were racing back on a backcheck and Guhle didn't lose that race. They were both flying Until they find someone better Wilson does a good job as ROR and Samson's linemate Don't look now but Nylander has 15 points in his last 15 games. Is he finally getting it?? Casey nearing a contract?? Are these Jack's new future linemates??

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri is the most depressing movie I've watched since Manchester by the Sea. I'm glad neither won best picture. Neither was necessarily a bad movie but definitely not date night movies but maybe something you watch before you kick the chair away and hang yourself. Finished watching Season 1&2 of Fargo. Great series, a little disappointed in the finale of season 2 but what a ride getting there. Whoever recommended this (sorry I forgot and too lazy to look it up), KUDOS Wonder Woman was much better than I anticipated also, good flick.

You may have something there or..... 1st 2 years in the league he averaged around 17 minutes TOI This year it's around 16:30 but in the last 17 games he's averaged 19 which means the added time has helped him or he's playing better so he's getting more time, the chicken or the egg?? I think he's in better physical condition so he must have been doing some off ice training. The light bulb also might have just gone off for him at this level and we're seeing the results. He definetly looks like a different player lately.

That forward lineup doesn't impress me at all but I am interested in how Guhle and Nelson team up together.

I actually started reading by going back to audio books. Construction on the hwy going to and from work, I started listening after getting sick of talk radio. I borrowed my wife's Nook, started reading Jack Reacher 61 Hours by Lee Child. Not finished yet but a pretty good read so far. Never used her Nook before, this is way easier to buy books as opposed to fighting traffic and going to Barnes and Noble. Prices cheaper too.

I agree with everything you said there except the 7-8 million. If his trade value was that low, no-one is going to turn around and give him 7-8 million with the possible exception of San Jose and ONLY if he becomes a total stud for the rest of this season and the playoffs.

The one thing that bothers me about the way the Sabres did this was denying ownership had anything to do with this trade. I think it had everything to do with this trade, yes the roster needs to be overhauled but it Kane's value around the league is so low, who is going to give him big bucks in free agency?? That doesn't make any sense. They wanted to get rid of him no matter what and I don't think a GM gives away an asset without the owner saying to get rid of him. Maybe behind the scenes there's something that hasn't come out yet so you never know but the Pegula's have their hands all over this again IMO

Housley needs to make a rule that Lehner cannot handle the puck the guy is a turnover machine
