I know there are those that believe our 4th line is better with Girgs and Bergs, but I thought the speed of E & E really lead to some great scoring chances that the 4th line was not capable of before. I'd like to see the current 4th line for another 3-4 games just to see what happens. The greatest difference between last year and this year is the fight for roster positions by legitimate NHL'ers. If no one get's hurt and we get healthy we have a great dilemma that many NHL teams would love to have.

Not in the long run, his talent will come through no matter who he plays with. But, he has played with marginal NHL caliper players for the majority of his time on the ice (Nelson, Baloo). Patrick and Numminen where good, I assumed though you meant as they aged and had lost a *step* would be very beneficial to a young player for their ability as an on ice coach more than their on ice performance. Having Patrick and/or Numminen in their prime would lift any of our 3rd pairing defensemen, let alone Dahlin.

Watched the Calgary/Toronto game last night. Calgary played much better than I assumed given their standings in their division. It was a zero/zero game going into the third so there is a very good possibility that this is a low scoring affair. Should be a fun game. Calgary is fun to watch and should have some good scoring chances by both teams.
