  1. My take is musichunch has hit the nail on the head. But all the wrongs will be righted for our defense against the Jacksonville offense. Jacksonville has a below average quarterback that hangs on to the ball to long and the Bill's defense is looking to put on an old time azz woopin'. The perfect storm.
  2. We don't have Hy's Steak seasoning here in the States, but I googled and a Canadian Expatriate has a recipe for it on line for those that long for it. Seems to be quite a popular seasoning mix, so I will make our own and give it a try....Thank you.
  3. I've had shingles. So sorry you got shingles let alone in your eye! I consider myself extremely lucky now hearing your story.
  4. I'm a little confused. Shouldn't it be pucking for us? Kind of roles of the tongue in a special way.
  5. Been there done that. No quarter asked and non given. Miss that stupid little knife. See above you simple minded country pumpkin.
  6. There once was a milk man named Schwartz, who's Richard was all covered in warts.....
  7. Is that a Confederate Note? Funny how the little things never change. If you emptied my wallet at a movie theater I would have 90% of the same stuff. Had to google the presbyopia. That is exactly what I and 500 million other people around the world have! Just never knew what it was called. If they still do it the same you have a post op visit with the Doctor in a few weeks (probably 4) right? Going to work with your sun glasses on won't get you a lolly pop on your way out the door young lady!
  8. Mrs. Racer had it done 11 years ago now. The Doctor over corrected one eye and under-corrected the other. It is my understanding that the eye changes shape as we age and that the under-corrected will turn to the shape of over corrected, and vise versa. This correction method is suppose to procedure very good vision for 20 years. Meaning, she should still have very good (no need for corrective lenses) for another 9 years. Then her eyes will deteriorate normally with age. So far the procedure has worked as advertised. She would do it again in a heart beat.
  9. That's fifty and a tooney worth of a Desert Dog fun!
  10. I like this Idea. Very Original
  11. said Mr. Obvious :P
  12. That's surprising. Could be more of the Canadian dollar driving that than interest of the on ice product. Well Promo, I'll do my part and buy a few and see if I can drive the market price higher. ;)
  13. I'll condense my point to this. Really talented forwards can make average d-men look good. Really talented d-man can't make average forwards look good. It's the chicken and egg debate of hockey. Some are blaming lack of quality d-men for the reason we are not winning, others the lack of scoring by our top 6. It's all to early to tell, but I bet once the Sabres forwards mesh and have a more cohesive starting line up the defense will look greatly improved as a a result of it. They may even take a few steps back during the first 5 games Bogo comes back and gets into playing shape/speed.
  14. Deep fried? well please tell us the rest.. Was there a batter, or a rub, did you throw on some flavorings after removing from the fryer? Your secrets are save on the internet.
  15. I think the great D-men are a product of really good forwards that give the D-men help and a relatively easy outlet pass. We could have had 4 great D-men on the sabres last year, IMHO they would have looked at best average. It takes great forwards to have great d-men.
  16. This I have no doubt. But the discussion started with Bluetooth, hence my talking to the windshield comment. The difference between talking on your phone(which I also assume takes into account, holding at ones' ear, searching for numbers, and the general fiddling with it to make a call) and using your thumb on a steering wheel then the use of voice commands is not nearly the same. Doing any thing while in heavy traffic other than paying attention to the road is impaired driving. Again but, using Bluetooth while stuck in a traffic jam or if I have the cruise set on the highway and just sitting in the driving lane, I have more of a chance of being a distracted driver by having day dreams than talking to someone.
  17. An Ellis/Reinhart pairing is eminent. As a side note.. Reinhardt is the auto correct for Reinhart, so it's not the author it's their computer's fault.
  18. And here I've been wondering why the old silos are still standing. I finally get a reasonable answer. Cereal, exactly what do you do over there? Out standing PA. :worthy:
  19. It doesn't!! It doesn't!!
  20. I had to google PTFO cause I'm a social media stupie, and this is what I got.... Parent, Teachers and Friends Organization Play The Fracking Objective (something to do with on line gaming?)* Pass The Frick Out.* *rated G version for everyone By the use of deductive reasoning, your going to take a nap then have a wonderful visit with your Dad as a nice way to kick off the weekend. I hope you where successful and had a great weekend.
  21. Not sure if there is some tongue n cheek or sarcasm laced in this, but that game will not be an easy game for the Sabres. The Leafs are not *that bad*.
  22. :w00t: You have to throw in the.. Gee! your hair smells terrific! To top it off. GO BLUE!
  23. My wife's nephew introduced us to water fowl last year when he brought some over for the family Christmas diner. My wife and I ate about 90% of what he brought, winged crack to us. I'm actually going to go hunting again for the first time in years (big and small game , never water fowl previously) just cause he asked if I'd *help*him. Nice *kid*. On a personal note, and only if you chose to answer. You used the term Indian to describe your ancestry. Is it your personally preferred description of your ancestry? Or, are you what may be considered an exception to what some consider the more acceptable *First Canadian/American* alternative? Just for a reference, we spend a lot of time around the Seneca Nation in the Southern Tier of Western NY. I never felt comfortable asking, as I never got to know some one of Indian/Native /First American Ancestry well if enough to know If I would be offending by even asking *these types* of questions. The disconnect of an Internet forum and your use of the word left a slight opening for my curiosity that I am hoping you find reasonable for me to ask. I've asked you to paint a picture using a very wide brush for millions of people due to my ignorance, but if you chose to enlighten me (or hopefully many) it would be greatly appreciated.
  24. And he's that really good sneaky about player also. Get in/ get out before the lumber jack comes hacking on your shins.
