    In a league made to be mediocre in order to keep a fans attention for most of the season, I see it more of a protest by fans. No one watches all stars games. This is the only reason to tune in, a reprieve from medicracy.

    Yah, it sucks to lose. But we have 2 rookies that are scoring and looking good. Eichel 13 goals tied for rookie lead. Samson 9 goals. I'm enjoying this season.

    Why is it that blind passes that almost go through the goal crease and there's no one there to even take a swing at them? Could it be there is no net front presence on a consistent basis? Samson and Legwand seem to be the two that are determined to do it. I can't blame coaching as it seems that DB will give ice time to anyone that will take the beating. Which is why I think Legwand played the last 2 minutes of the Isle's game. Till it is a team wide mentality, it will be a while before we score on all situations.

    The Sabres are following in the footprints of 2 other teams that used the frame work of dumping their roster to get picks and prospects along with high draft choices due to their end of year standings to hope for future successes. The Pittsburgh Penguins right after drafting Crosby went on to get 58 points that 05-06 season. The Chicago Blawkhawks right after drafting Patrick Kane went on to get 88 points that 07-08 season. The Sabres have played 38 games and have 34 points to close out 2015. They are on pace for a 71 point season. What will the second half bring? Will GMTM make a stunning pre-trade deadline move? Will Lehner saunter in and be THE MAN in goal? Make your 2016 predictions. What does the winner get? I could think of nothing finer .....than a chicken diner.
