    He's as gone as Nolan. We can start a pool as to when. I'd take Lindy back. He changed and adapted his coaching style over time. He wasn't a coach for the tank. Don't think he would have even had considered the Sabres this year even if he didn't have a great job with the Stars. But come summer of 2017. One never knows?

    IIRC it was GODD that said DB was the coach we needed now. But not the coach of the future. He has instilled a structured hockey system. The 4-3 in overtime was structured but also pathetic. This team needed the building blocks of a structured system an DB was the best available for the job. But a half season in we see the Dan may be able to disco, but he just can't in game tango.

    Yes,no, maybe. If I didn't know better, I would assume from the posts Buffalo doesn't. But I do know better and Buffalo has some wonderful locally owned, non big corporate type establishments. I view 716 as the locally owned big corporate place. I'm in the minority I believe, but 716 is not my idea of *having a drink in a relaxing atmosphere with good service* place. I'm more of a Cole's on Elmwood guy. But is that any different than any other city in North America? No. The locals know where to hang. Not that I'm a local anymore. But I do know places I like in WNY and would like to try new ones to me. Kind of a long winded answer to * Please tell me where you would have gone?* Not, not where to go, only.

    My sister is just south of Clearwater. There are a lot of very good dining options all around that region. I'm not sure I'm spelling this right... Mauhaffers. Not a dining, but a drinking experience. If your in the mood...
