Was a tradition on New Years Eve on Mom's side ( thought it was a Polish thing (?)). Turned Mrs. Racer on to it and we have it all the time. We put it out when company comes over and we get looked at like we grew a third head. You are the only other person I know that likes pickled fish. If you like this, the Swedish have this smoked fish spread that comes in a tube. My brother-n-law gets it IKEA. It's a hit with us also.
