I agree that Cozens needs to work on his strength if he wants to continue to try and power through defenders. He can also find other ways to beat them, give and go, chip and chase or gain the blue line and turn etc… Krebs is a willing combatant but is missing strength. As others have said, he needs to work on his shot so that is another option for his offense. I like them both long term but I want to see some growth soon.

There was a Sabrepede sighting on the 4th goal. Not a picture perfect one but 3 guys going after a Panther while 2 others are wide open.

I’ve watched a few of their games and they are good. They have multiple lines that can score, a mobile D core and Bobrovsky has found his game. The Sabres need to bring their A game if they want a piece of the 🐈. Lets go Buffalo!

I like DG and want him to continue with this team. He brings positive energy and seems to have the development of our young talent at the top of his list. Keep in mind he is a rookie and will develop along with his players. I think he is intelligent enough to improve his technical approach and to figure out how to be better than his opponents. I would hope he has a checklist on how to get there because development is only part of this.

The cap space they are providing for a team to get a Giroux has got to be worth a decent pick. Most of the contenders are at or near the cap so they cannot bring on that type of player without the Flyers retaining 50% and the broker retaining 50% of the remaining amount. Teams get a little goofy at the deadline especially if a rival covets the same player.

Would the Sabres be willing to take Carey Price if he wants a change of scenery and Montreal wants the cap space to make a splash? 4 more years at a cap hit of $10.5. He would be a perfect mentor for Levi, UPL or Portillo. He can win some games as well and transition into the 1B in a few years.
