Yeah, I see him a lot. He can skate and has a hard shot. He is not big but is stocky and doesn’t shy away from physical play. The OHL year off hurt development but he came out of the gate strong and had a letter despite having never played a game in the league. Ryan Ellis had a lot of success in Windsor and WJC. Nelson will be in the CHL Top Prospects game, his first real coast to coast exposure.

Yeah, he wins a few draws but he struggles with basic tasks as you say. Even on the PK, he gets in lanes but he lacks quickness to pressure opponents and he cannot win a puck battle. He makes me wonder if he is capable of icing the puck let alone clearing the zone. He is one of the worst players I have seen that gets a regular shift. I don’t know what DG sees. Jankowski brings more in my opinion. We have had whipping boys in the past like Stafford, but he produced a lot more than Eakin.

Olivier Nadeau 10th in QMJHL scoring, 9th in goals.

I’m not dreaming that big, but would like a good pick from the trade. Vegas has been going deep every year so it would be great for them to miss when the Sabres have their 1st. Fans would feel KA got good value for Jack.

Quinn is an upgrade over Eakin, Bjork, Hayden, Hinestroza, Asplund, Jankowski and Krebs right now. He should be on the starting lineup in October. He will get stronger this summer and the only thing the AHL can do for him is help with his defensive game, which is not horrible and is not as critical for a winger.
