I'm saying the youngest team in the league needs to develop accountability. That means not blowing off terrible performances with bull#### excuses like, we're the youngest team in the league.

If it does, it's not consistent yet.

They've lost 6 of their last 8 home games. Not saying the time off isn't a factor, but they have bigger issues than the break.

And he stopped 4 or 5 shots that should have been goals. The Sabres had 8 shots thru 2 periods, goaltending needs to improve but for a young team, the effort has not been nowhere near close enough the last two games.

Sabres have no defensive zone structure. Haven't had it in over a decade.

Their underperformance at home is becoming a major obstacle to their playoff run.

The Sabres passing is too sloppy to beat Calgary's brand of caveman hockey.

Game seems to be following the normal script for a Sabres win.

Mitts figuring it out would be huge for the rest of the season.

Their skating is great. They need that Granato adjustment/reminder to shoot in high danger areas.

I expect Quinn to be fundamentally sound and continue his development, but I don't expect him to be a major contributor on the score sheet. His season so far is similar to Cozens season last year. Cozens played very sound hockey after the All Star break, but only scored 3 goals. I also expect Quinn to take off next season, like Cozens has done this year.

I read the Timo Meier rumors and I think that the price tag is too high. And then I consider that he's probably a little bit better version of Alex Tuch, and the thought of that on this roster....

Play Comrie now and then to spell Anderson to keep him fresh to back up UPL in the playoffs. Next season Comrie replaces Anderson as backup to UPL while Levi spends the season in Rochester. BAM! Sabres have a goalie plan.
