My brother and I sat next to a family that is friends with McDavids family at a few sabres games and they said the only team he didn't want to go to was edmonton. Really wanted to stay near his home and buffalo was at the top of his list.

Talked to a guy at a few sabres games that knows McDavids family and he said the only team in the NHL that he doesn't want to go to is Edmonton.

Lmao because I feel prospects should get their feet wet in the AHL first I have a warped understanding of hockey. Where did I say that they absolutely 100% no way around it have to play in the minors no matter what their skill set? Oh wait I didnt... I said I prefer that they do, that doesn't mean they have to and are going to. Everybody is wired different some kids can play right away most cannot. McDavid and Eichel are probably 2 that can make the jump. It's just my opinion that patience with developing players is better than throwing them into the fire. I dont like situations like the grigorenko fiasco. You may have a different opinion and that's cool.

I would have no problem with any player(McDavid included) going back to juniors, college or ahl. I would like every player to get at least a season in the minors before coming to the big league. IMO that is the best way to develop talent. Patience is key. I want Reinhart in Rochester next year.

you would think they could just put it in the snow for a min. We have sold hot chocolate at other places and never get complaints or have people ask for ice. Maybe it's the kids that want it cold. Had a guy earlier stick an icicle in it and demanded a refund after the icicle had something in it when it melted. Lol. I think it's just a lack of patience. I have noticed the "older" people (my age or older, I'm 28) don't ask for ice and just wait the 3-4 mins for it to cool.

We sell hot chocolate. Almost every person that buys a cup immediately tries to drink it and then gets mad because it is hot. I don't understand it. What is it supposed to be? We go through countless bags of ice because every one wants it in their cup. Guy bought a cup drank it immediately and yelled at our counter girl for 20 mins saying he didn't know it was going to be hot. I mean it's called HOT chocolate

I'm white (if that matters lol) and nearing 30. I have heard this for about 20 years. My aunt used to call my uncle it. It is just short for babe or baby. Nothing more. it's funny because all the people i know (white)that used to say it all the time now hate it once other races started using it. Asked this question in the enroth trade thread. What are our options on a trade for a goalie in the offseason. Someone like a gibson, fucale or subban? The response Igot in that thread was schneider was traded for a 1st. Would a 2016 first get gibson?

we will trade for a goalie when the time is right. Don't remember exactly what Murray said about the rebuild but I think he said build the offense and defense then find your goalie where is he? Montreal? What do you think it would take to get him or a malcolm subban.

local writers only really get info from the sabres. National writers get info from almost every team. that too
