    So many of the Pens chances are from pressuring the D with their forecheck and causing turnovers. I fear this will be an ongoing issue all season.

    The worst teams in history were the expansion Capitals and Scouts who were given minor leaguers and has beens. They got smoked in almost every game. But at least they had an excuse.

    I’d rather watch players like him and Weisbach than another year of Okposo and Eakins.

    Dahlin needs a defensive oriented partner with some grit to balance him.

    I wish they would have given Houser another chance in goal. At least it was fun rooting for him.

    UPL did the best having faced a lot of good chances. The biggest issue is the soft D. Mostly smaller offensive D. They’re lacking in bigger physical D who can match up with other team’s bigger forwards.

    While Buffalo gets first dibs on him, I believe if they wanted to send him to Rochester he’d have to go through waivers.

    If he can’t make an expansion team, you have to wonder if he’s ready for the NHL.

    Troubling that 3 of the defensemen playing tonight (Psyek, Bryson, Haag) could be regulars. It could be the weakest link on this team.

    Don’t like that other teams are physically bigger than the Sabres. Speed is fine but you have to win the battles on the wall too.

    Drives me nuts when the D don’t clear the screens in front of the goalie.
