I’m guessing it’s UPL, though I’d like to see another game from Levi.

One thing I see consistently with Power is he’s hesitant to shoot the puck from the point. There’ll be a screen in front and he looks to pass instead. He needs to get more confidence.

No chance. It will likely be Boston’s coach over New Jersey which overachieved, and a top team from the west.

They need someone next season, not a future prospect.

I wouldn’t take it for granted given the direction Florida is going.

I play pickup with guys in their 60s who still won’t even wear a visor. They say they can’t get used to it. 🙄

They acquired defenseman Austin Strand from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenseman Chase Priskie.

Another year without playoffs. Needed a better defenseman at the trade deadline to cover for injuries. But the process… 🙄

He’d be a superstar in a non-checking league, but the fact is he’s too slight and gets knocked off the puck too often. I hoped they would have traded him for an upgrade on defense and opened his roster spot for a prospect with a higher upside.

That’s not what I said, but nice try to deflect from the facts. Leagues want competitive balance, including expansion teams that do well from the start to generate and maintain interest.

Factually wrong. The league knows they screwed up with bad expansion teams in the past. The owners want stability and stable markets. No one thought Vegas would be that good, but its quick success has made it a model franchise with great support.

So you don’t think the owner paying that much wants a competitive team to draw and retain fans, and the league wants a stable franchise? 🙄

I went to an Atlanta Thrashers game back in the day. It was a nice arena with easy access, and they had a large crowd. But like any new franchise, they have to be competitive to keep fan interest in the first few years. That’s why the NHL now makes sure expansion teams field a competitive roster from the start; ala Vegas and Seattle.

If you have Sirius satellite radio you can listen. I listened to the Columbus game that way so I could get the WGR radio broadcast while watching on Hulu.

I look at him as the type of player they’ve been missing since Marcus Foligno was traded.

That last segment when Jeremy and Howard said their final goodbyes was a real tear jerker.

This is the beginning of the slide while Ottawa makes a real effort to make the playoffs.

Looks like the players are tanking so none of them get traded for players that could put them in the playoffs.
