I’m torn because I don’t want Edmonton or Vegas to advance, but if Edmonton does then Vegas has a better chance to beat them. But if LA advances then I want the Jets.

Cincinnati was down 3-0 to Fort Wayne after 1 period of game 1. They switched goalies to Beck Warm, scored 3 in the 3rd, and won 4-3 in OT.

Because they repeatedly disregard getting quality goaltending.

Why did Syracuse get 2nd when they tied for points but the Amerks have more wins? From the Crunch website: The best-of-five series will begin in Syracuse with Game 1 on Friday, April 21 and Game 2 on Saturday, April 22. The Crunch will travel to face the Amerks for Game 3 on Friday, April 28 and Game 4 on Sunday, April 30, if necessary. Syracuse will host Game 5 on Saturday, May 6, if necessary. Amerks lost the last two home games to teams below them. Utica pushed Amerks down to 4th with an OT win in Syracuse. The Amerks need to win in Cleveland Sunday to move up to 2nd, otherwise they stay in 4th and would have to play Laval in a 3 game series.

One thing I see consistently with Power is he’s hesitant to shoot the puck from the point. There’ll be a screen in front and he looks to pass instead. He needs to get more confidence.

They need someone next season, not a future prospect.

They acquired defenseman Austin Strand from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenseman Chase Priskie.

Another year without playoffs. Needed a better defenseman at the trade deadline to cover for injuries. But the process… 🙄

He’d be a superstar in a non-checking league, but the fact is he’s too slight and gets knocked off the puck too often. I hoped they would have traded him for an upgrade on defense and opened his roster spot for a prospect with a higher upside.

That’s not what I said, but nice try to deflect from the facts. Leagues want competitive balance, including expansion teams that do well from the start to generate and maintain interest.

Factually wrong. The league knows they screwed up with bad expansion teams in the past. The owners want stability and stable markets. No one thought Vegas would be that good, but its quick success has made it a model franchise with great support.
