We didn't hear him answer questions on LaFontaine. What's his vision for next year? Be the best they can be with free agent acquisitions or dress a team of young players and AHL veterans? What are his marching orders for TM? Is it fair to raise ticket prices on an inferior product? What interest does he have in the Bills?

Wonder if Pegula will be there. Would be nice to get some answers from him.

My way of doing the draft would be to have the lottery ball process be done on camera for transparency. Assign the most bslls to the team with the most points, through the least balls for the least points. Break up the selection in three steps. First have a draw for teams 10-14. The first team picked would draft 14th, and so on, so those five teams draft order would possibly be shuffled between 10th and 14th. Then do the same for teams 5-9. Then finally do the same for teams 1-4. This would insure the 1st four picks go to the 4 worst teams, but they could draft anywhere from 1st to 4th.

I agree, but also include Montreal. The tough part is picking the lesser of two evils if they play each other. I think I still like the Flyers the least, in part because of their fans.

That was a tough fight for Scott because he couldn't get good leverage on the short stocky player. He's like mini-me Georges Laraque. I would keep this year's pick. I think they will be much better next year with Tavares back. And if Snow survives this year he knows next year will be his last chance.

McCabe can't go because he wasn't on final Amerks roster at AHL deadline. Risto, Pysyk, Delauriers, Knapp, and Makarov will go back.

Well then that's a total waste. They could have brought up the Amerks backup they just signed and have him sit on the bench. They signed Mark Guggenberger from ECHL to play today for Amerks, but he just played last night in Gwinnett and has never played in AHL.

After the game the jerseys will be given to randomly drawn season ticket owners.

So who will be the team MVP, rookie of year, and unsung hero? Mail the MVP to Miller? Give to Leino for being the Tank Commander? I'd give MVP and rookie to Girgensons, and unsung to Flynn.

If Makarov comes up to play, they should send Knapp down to start for Amerks. Let Vinz backup, or sign Biron to one day contract. To have Makarov or Knapp on bench would be dumb. And put Scott on D instead of Pysek. The priority should be the Amerks.
